>be in store
>overhear some girl ask “do you have to new pokemon ARKAYUS?”
Can these people just die?
>be in store
>overhear some girl ask “do you have to new pokemon ARKAYUS?”
Can these people just die?
as much as I hate it, ark does fit better than arse
Being this triggered lmao
Sure, if you're a christcuck britbong
That's how it's pronounced in the trailer. It's how the makeshift Arceus Pokemon, silvally has the "RKS" system. Face it user, Ar-key-us was always the pronunciation. I'd be like if I didn't prefer Ar-see-yus though
Ar-kay-us is literally the best pronunciation and I will die on this hill
Ark, archaic, arcane, and deus all referenced
I say Ark-kay-us.
Dr House can fuck off
Arceus > Arceus
Simple as.
So do you call the Arc Phone the Arse Phone?
right it’s arkeyus
>’c’ is pronounced as an ‘s’ when it comes right before ‘e’
>it sounds better. Ar-syoos references zeus and ar-see-us is the most pleasant sounding version
>House said it
>the name is fucking アルセウス (aruseusu)
>kill youreselfs
dilate and seethe.
Did you talk to her? Probably not because you’re an autist that people actively avoid.
There’s not really a debate to be had here.
The name was very obviously planned to be pronounced Arseus in the west, similar to how it is in the east.
That was changed to Arc, presumably so people weren’t saying arse, which is practically a curse word in the uk.
Now, it is undeniably pronounced Arkeus. The anime, promotional materials, Silvally ability and staff all confirm this. It would be retarded to try and claim otherwise.
Imagine having english as your main english
arceus has only one pronunciation and its the brazilian portuguese one
>"Luv me legends arse-y-us innit. Mum preordered me it."
I envy the prestige of Brazil.
I was careful when I went to get a copy and just asked for the "New Pokemon"
>having english as your main english
As expected of a BR.
>Imagine having english as your main english
>"Legends OF Arceus"
name comes from the greek word "arheos"(αρχαίος) and this pronunciation is closer to the original word than it is to how we say Arceus
It's Arkeus, just like Archon.
Regardless of how it was meant that is exacy what it is. The games trailer materials should have left no doubt.
Absolute retard
