Its worse in hardcore.
The creator changed the teams with no understanding of the chracters so it automatically cannot be kino.
Examples:
>Sabrina has a Trick Room (Why?) team with Conkeldurr (Why?) in it
>Champion uses legendaries
>Surge uses Pincurchin
>Koga uses Dragapult

>Champion uses legendaries
Why is this a bad thing?

As much as it takes to get a discussion going.

>Original theme is strongest non-legendary Kanto mons
Idk guess

It's great for nuzlockes and just hard enough for new players. but use cheats to minimize grinding

Cheap and uncreative way to increase difficulty

How would you rework his team then?

The regular game is fun but hardcore mode is pretty unenjoyable, fanfic modifiers in battle and uninteresting "5 year old in anything goes" tier teams of legendaries towards the end that have zero synergy but present challenge only because they're all 100+ BST higher than anything you can use

Its fanbase is terrible, say anything bad about their precious hack and theily instantly scream "skill issue".

When does the game get really hard? I played a bit of it back in 2020(?) and never found it as painfully frustrating as other romhacks, then again I only had 3 badges on me when I stopped playing because of reasons.

did u nuzlocke it?

Nah.

Things start getting really dumb at Erika, I'd say.

no because it's full of numon and gimmicks

Monotype teams are garbage, if you want your game to be challenging, then gym leaders should not adhere to strict monotype

How would you do it then
