No, we destroyed the labor market by letting women work and importing millions of foreigners. Leftists refuse to acknowledge the true cause of their financial oppression.

It's more a result of women entering the workplace. Suddenly families were competing on house prices with other families that had two incomes.

it is easy just kill the goberment and you can have that too

>no mention of the gold standard

>no mention of degeneracy
>no mention of “womens rights”
>no mention of blacks

Discarded.

When this picture was taken, the "rich" had insane marginal tax rates on earned income to pay for world war 2. That's the shit that libtards will use to back this up.
What they don't realize is that the actual rich people don't usually make earned income. They have corporations and investments, which were taxed very lightly in comparison, just like today. The one percenters have paid roughly the same share of their income in taxes for a very very long time.

based. liberal policies have morally bankrupted america and killed all upward movement

Women also barely worked and you didn't have to compete with the world's poorest people for a job and the world's richest for a house.

Tax revenue remains roughly static regardless of tax rates.

Kinda true
My grandfather owns multiple huge farm land plots and was still considered poor back then

Absolutely not. Taxes on the rich are actually regressive unless you're dramatically taxing displays of wealth, which you absolutely should (yachts and mansions and shit).
What caused all this was the transition to a service economy, the outsourcing of actual value work like complex manufacturing and refining, and the introduction of ladder pulling/NIMBY policies like strict zoning laws. The only thing left is tech, and it's on the precipice of a crash or retraction.

> then we said “tax the rich” and proceeded to tax the middle class to death.

not true at all

You could buy a shithouse studebaker and an 1100 sq ft slab shit shack on one income
you can still buy a pt cruiser and an 1100 sq ft slab shit shack on one income today
as for sending kids to college, that's true

The 1950's were when labor unions were at their peek.

And then women entered the workforce, doubling the supply without any additional demand.

Unions had nothing to do with this.
Why were wages high for non-union labor as well.
The problem is central banking and government intervention.

I'll autistically trade options if I ever have money again

Ronald fuckboy Reagan gave the rich everything the wanted, and our nation has been piling debt and stealing everything it can for the rich to live easy.

>Ronald fuckboy Reagan gave the rich everything the wanted

>repeating the leftist "MUH TRIGGLE DOWN" narritive on Any Forums
Redddit is over there boomer.

>and our nation has been piling debt
Yes, cutting taxes and spending results in more debt. You are very smart.
