It doesn't help that the overall crypto market cycles are pretty much aligned perfectly opposite to any good Link news or announcements.
I think the team knows it's better this way for the long term success of Chainlink, but holding though all these years of frustrating price action while everything points toward a thriving behemoth beginning to rise takes a lot of patience.
