Charles Hoskinson

he's right yet again

I FUCKING LOVE CHRALES OOOOOOOOOO

slow like cardano blockchain? lmaooo
what a ridiculous cope

ada holders will lose everything like luna holdrrs did... only slowly

Like the development yeah. The Blockchain itself is rather fast. Avg 3 payments per transaction, 7-8 tps, something like 40tps on Vasil testnet right now, that's without Hydra state channels

true, slow rug would be better

HOW SLOW DO WE NEED TO GO? CHARLES, WHERE ARE THE FUCKING DAPPS CHARLES????

Snail pilled

In love and in blockchain design. charles prefers going slow

in peer review

BS. The Max block size is currently 88k. Blocks are done around every 20 seconds. Average transaction size is around 1000 byes. 88000 / 1000 / 20 = 4.4 tps which is garbage for a chain without proper smart contracts or dapps.

Fuck all centralized pos shitcoins.

don't talk about ethereum ever again

But the peers said that it's ok, user.

Charles doesn't work.
The thing is that he already made it so he doesn't give a shit about Cardano. He just wants to have fun so he rides camels and shills cardano to africans. If it fails he won't care, if it survives he won't care. Cardano has to go as slow as his work schedule

You are still playing who's bigger instead of determining if the technology is scaling accordingly for services.

TPS at this point is all bullshit marketing.. Look we are SOL and we do 10 billion messages a second. Too bad our network never stays up, and 99% are not user transactions. Yet at the end, some dip on Any Forums can say big TPS number good!

TPS does have its place, but really the goal is to support the workload that is coming through the network. Cardano is doing that. With Vasil, that number will go up and more services will come online so both the workload and network will increase accordingly.

>support the workload that is coming through the network
thats literally what TPS is

umm sweaty, are those numbers peer reviewed?

I think he means things like cost, security as well. TPS is not the only thing needed to support a massive ecosystem

throughput vs usage... overbuilding out throughput without an understanding of current usage is fucking retarted. It is like building 20 lane road for a small farm community.

sure, but TPS usually proxies those metrics anyway
word salad bro

I am sorry to boggle your mind with such a basic concept.

can someone please shop C-Hosk's face on this picture

you mean slow like picrel?

That's why he brought up Solana. 90% of Solana's transactions is just for block validation. It's a misleading metric.

eth2 (POS) 6 plus years still not out. Great coding ;)

misleading in terms of usage
not misleading in terms of throughput. Validator transactions on Solana are real transactions and put load on the system

He is right you losers! If you think moving fast and breaking things is the way forward, you're a fool. That is how you lose everyone's money and destroy crypto.

>misleading in terms of usage

That's what matters the most user.

but that's him in 1999
