I just realized I can split my parent’s rent between my two monthly paychecks instead of doing it from just the second one. That way I won’t feel broke from nuking my second check. Wow.

Save up your money so you have some liquidity you bonehead.

My parents don't charge me rent

there is only one group of people I can think off that would charge their kids for rent, I'm really sorry user

Tell me something about rentcucking, can I get a better deal on rent if I offer to pay 6 or 12 months of rent in advance? I know that my car insurance is cheaper because I offered to pay annually instead of monthly.

same

32 btw

Doesn't sound too bad to me. All that money that would have been spent on rent can be invested, which compounded over a 15ish year period is a night-and-day difference.

>having money in your 20s even if you live at home

doesnt happen

36 here

living in a home, paid for by parents. no rent

Yeah I’m sure all that 10% return is worth being a creepy single 35 year-old boomer by the time I can finally use it. Better yet why not stay until age 40? Only 5 more year from there. 5 more years of compounding returns.

If you're over 18 you should be providing towards the household in some sense, don't like it? Move out. Then you'll realise it was more than reasonable to be asked to pay/help in the first place.

They don’t WANT me to move out though aaaaaaaaaaah

After getting a real job and working for 5 years I don't even think about my paychecks. I buy shit I want and throw money at stocks. There's never less than 10-20k sitting in my bank. I dunno how month to month subhuman even manage to spend enough to only have 400 dollars. I just bought a new Xbox Elite controller because it got slightly drifty and a new gamer chair. Things I used to research and wait for sales on, I just don't give a shit about some 300 dollar expenses when my portfolio swing like 5-10k a week. I make 85k a year, with benifits, 401k, stock options and work bought me a 8k gaming pc I "need". I just play Elden Ring on it. Also 85k now doesn't even seem like much with inflation. I am no where near broke, but I am nowhere near rich. Much further from the latter. I have like 40k cash and like 130k crypto/stocks.

What the fuck do normies spend on?

kek you are in the wrong site pleb. I am guessing atleast 40% of this board > 27 are living with their parents.
It is not the worst idea for the coming uncertainty, but being positioned better financially after this bear would put these anons in prime position to pounce on a house.
>> being a creepy single 35 year-old boomer
negro please grow out of your cringe mentality, why are zoomers worse than teenage girls when it comes to social acceptance lmao.
Have fun paying 1800 plus utlities so that you can FEEL normal.

normies arent manchildren who live with their parents and think buying video games is a notable purchase to brag about.

Sounds like modern slavery to me

Eating out several times a week adds up.

Do white people really

>brag
I can feel the projection. In terms of accomplishment I would rank it near taking a shit.

I eat out every day. My budget is about 8-11 dollars per day. It's not much at all.

Average meal at a restaurant is around 20-30$
