How are poor people surviving?

Like the bottom 20% of Americans?
Inflation is killing me, what about these people?

gubbermint handouts + debterinos

welfare + mooching

Inflation isn’t as bad as Any Forums is making it out to be. Wages for the poor are going up. I live in AZ and back in 2016 a min wage job paid 8.05, now I’m making $17 same lame call center job

>Wages for the poor are going up
LMAO
fuck off clueless boomer tard

That's why socialism is becomign so popular. I think the next economy crash is gonna be because socialism literally there's not gonna be any crash only poor people gonna get more poor and rich gonna stay rich.

Survive?

They are in my state, we have $15 min wage and all the warehouses are paying more than that and give 40 hr shifts

Even so, rent and gas has gone over 2x in the same time frame.
Now they're just as poor but don't qualify for as many gibs

Wages for the bottom of the barrel have unironically gone up, slightly.

Nigger, I got a 1% raise last year and nothing so far this year

Back in my day I made it on 5 dollars an hour sunny. You kids don't know how good you have it.

>my 0 dollars are burning by -10% inflation to 0 dollars
>oh no no no

thats a good question. the government handed out lots of money, debt forgiveness etc,
once that runs dry we will see the full effects

Also EBT is being given away without having to be in debt due to covid. It’s called emergency ebt and they give you $300 a month and the buses are free

thanks for paying my food stamps bill faggot

I pay an extra dollar for the pizza I buy every day for dinner so what?
Doesn't hurt at all. Why do you guys whine so much?
Inflation doesn't hurt at all

Other than gas and video game consoles and used cars it isn’t noticeable

get a new job. seriously you already know. wherever you work, whatever your job is, they will start a new employee at a higher wage than you started at when you got the job.

he's right, at least for low level jobs
$15 an hour at mcdonalds used to be unheard of, now it's basically everywhere

I povertymaxx by buying nothing but essentials and cooking for myself

I highly recommend minimalism and I unironically am happier the less I own

Gas affects the price of every fucking thing on earth idiot.

pc gaming has improved because gpu prices are coming down. Just make the government pay for car gas etc there are ways to benefit from that so it doesn't matter.

I never said it didn’t

I'd rather have inflation than stagflation or whatever bullshit we're having. The inflation has done nothing to me but the crashing stocks and crypto have hurt me more. I still buy takeout every day

I always bought the cheapest but nutritious food like bananas, chicken, frozen veggies, bakery bread, etc. I haven't noticed much of a difference in the amount I am spending. It's only the gas that's killing me, plus hoarding food, gas, and gun parts due to upcoming shortages/gun control.

starting at 17 here in Chicago. 5 years ago that shit would have been pretty sweet, actually.
