I put my bills on mine and pay it off before the end of the month every month.

OP is a troll or underage and doesn't understand how credit works.

Credit cards are a litmus test for poor financial literacy

This. OP is just a retard who got approved for a TampaBank Card with a $400 limit and 35% APR and hasn’t been able to pay it down

The problem is once credit is introduced it raises ambient prices through expectation of itself. You can also get annual fees waived forever if you're a mil/govfag.

Also this. I get a ton of free flights and rooms and stuff on things already being paid by the DOD that I just put on my card before filing.

Credit cards are made to replace personal savings and emergency funds at a 25% interest rate for low IQ people of doubtful origin.

>I FUCKIN HATE CREDIT CARDS
>KIKE SCAM IS WHAT THEY IS

Right now I have:

86,000 American Airline Miles
85,000 Hyatt Points
65,000 United Miles
185,000 IHG Points

Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of other points I got and spent over the past decade. First class flights roundtrip to Europe, Five star hotels and resorts, Airport Lounges

This is the power of credit cards and using them for normal spending.

Yes.

Credit cards with cashback rewards are literally one of the easiest ways to combat inflation you brainlet.

do you just close the accounts within a year and reopen new ones?

I closed all my revolving credit accounts a few years back. Feels good ngl. I don't give a single fuck about rewards and shit, I just like the simplicity and I love fucking my wife.

>you are poor if you dont borrow money
yup its Business & Finance time

Depends on the card.

Some cards have it where the first year is free and then they charge you for the second year. So you get the bonus points and cancel before the second year. Make sure you don't lose the points though.

But yes, I cancel the card before the yearly fee kicks in. Sometimes the first year fee is worth the bonus points they provide. And the particular hotel cards are worth keeping if you travel, like the Hyatt card.

Chase cards you need to wait 2 years after you close the card, to re open the same card to get another bonus.

Every two to three years you should be getting the Sapphire card for the bonus.
