It's slowly sinking in that steaking is very likely going to be announced with mainnet release date at Consensus. The walls are closing in and while it's probably not going to cause a 1000% pump, it's going to be the start of a new era. Remember Sergey just announcing plans to release steaking on January 1st resulted in a 30% pump? Which was then swiftly followed by a BTC/market dump?

Ethereum is successful, Sol/Avax pumped in the bull and have nothing to look forward to in a bear as nobody has a reason to play with shitcoins (which is the only usecase for L1's right now), Rose barely moved and has done less than link since its inception, and you must be trolling to list ICP why did I waste time replying.

What some aren't getting (or maybe they are and that's why some of the fud is extra persistent) is that staking isn't going to just cause a speculative pump, its going to add fundamental value to the token. Something that almost doesn't even exist in this market yet. If we somehow swing bull, link will rise with the tide, if we turn bear, whales are going to look to link for security when dumping their shitcoin caches.

What will happen is that if chainlink doesn't pump hard after staking announcement then its basically over. Investor sentiment is rock bottom and most will capitulate unless they see a 10x from link soon.

Chainlink doesn't need retail bagholders to succeed. That's exactly why anons fud so persistently here for years, they hate retail (even if they technically are themselves) because of how dumb they are.
