We dip below a previous run's ATH

Bitcoin won't be profitable to mine anymore after next halving, and fee rewards have only gone down thanks to segwit and lightning. It's peaked and is now back on the road towards 0. The only function Bitcoin's had over the past year has been a gateway to better crypto.

Why is this so important? Just leave it to supply and demand instead of some retarded metric

>bitcoin has never before dipped below a previous run's ATH after the new run has begun.
now it has
>what happens when we fall below 20k in june?
in that case we'll be below 20k in june

the argument is about 0 block rewards. bitcoin has some 100 years to see if this becomes an issue in practice and take preemptive measures. so far there was never a remotely successful attack on bitcoin and it's the hardest to attack PoW coin in existence and there's nothing indicating that it won't remain that after the next halving.

>now it has
no user, the previosu run's ath was 19,600

>bitcoin won't fall below x because y
thank you! that was all the reassurance i sneeded!

>better crypto
Moron alert

$21k reasonable bottom

>things will be different this time

this argument is also wrong.

big holders have a very strong implied incentive in the security of the network and this hidden incentive is showing off very strong in practice

Yeah I guess miners will just altruistically keep their miners running at a loss because they like Bitcoin more than they like money. PoW is a dead end road, it leads only to centralization.

good thing nobody cares about what you say or think

>what happens when we fall below 20k in june?
you know already
>spawn El Slurpador

Bitcoin was literally $3,000 in March 2020

It just means the asset is maturing. That's it.

yes but it never reached previous ATH between 2017 december and 2020 march, there was no new bull.

>now it has

>altruistically
you didn't understand anything. also what is the equation of expected gains from attacking the network?
