I can tell you right now that the Savage/Steph rumor was some bullshit made up on the old Death Valley Driver forum or whatever back in the day. Literally the product of someone posting scandalous-sounding stuff on a board 20 years ago. It was compiled in to the "Wrestling Sleaze List" or whatever and gained a ton of traction that way. Occasionally you get someone like Honky-Tonk or even Randy's own fucking brother Lanny stirring the pot in shoot interviews.
And I genuinely hope that 20 years from now, long after Any Forums gets Any Forums shut down, when Any Forums is a distant memory and WWE is a product in Disney-Microsoft omnipresent portfolio, I hope that people will be believing in the Nash and the sizzlin' summer of 1992 the same way they do Savage/Steph.
