LMAO THE CURRENT STATE OF DEFI
LMAO THE CURRENT STATE OF DEFI
>SCREAM
>"""DECENTRALIZED FINANCE"""
at some point, even the most stupid biz user needs to acknowledge that bitcoin is the only decentralized project in existence.
Everything bad that happens in DeFi is literally from not utilizing Chainlink in some form lmao
>our $6.50 json parser could've prevented this....
seek help. mental illness is treatable.
>at some point, even the most stupid biz user needs to acknowledge that bitcoin is the only decentralized project in existence.
delusional
He's right tho
CODE IS LAW
>int x = 1
>String peg = “$” + x;
>Return peg;
the future of finance is truly remarkable
kek
that's what you get for not using chainlink
shit like this is gonna kill defi
lol I remember just last week there was a bsc project that lost millions because chainlink price on luna was paused
its as if the dev is a Any Forumstard
if they used chainlink here it would have reported $0.1 when it was worth $0, so...
>inb4 "CHAINLINK DELIVERED THE ORACLE TO SPEC"
yes, and do you even understand what the advice was? "do not use chainlink here, implement your own circuit breaker with an actually reliable data source for ust price"
>just hardcode the stablecoin to always be $1
holy based
High IQ
Is this the promised DeFi (whiteboi) summer?
Bitcoin is a CIA invention transacted on AWS servers
so it turns out when you let the average retard handle money he does hilariously bad things
I appreciate central banking more and more
jesus stupid fucking christ
most defi protocols suffer from a very bad case of economic brainletism—even the ones that don't deploy on ethereum
watch yourselves
it was two stablecoins; fantom USD (FUSD) and dei (DEI)
theblockcrypto com/post/147046/defi-lender-left-with-35-million-bad-debt-after-quoting-depegged-stablecoins-at-1
FUSD has never been recorded at $1 by coingecko or coinmarketcap in its recorded history; DEI only recently lost their peg
>if they used chainlink here it would have reported $0.1 when it was worth $0, so...
luna isn't a stablecoin
even if it were, chainlink can't account for a coin's economics being fragile, or defi protocols accepting fragile currencies as collateral
a chainlink oracle's "minimum value" function assumes market manipulation over bad economics; clearly, even if market manipulation is the case, bad economics may still be at play, and chainlink should offer some mechanism that attempts to account for this
banks lose trillions in money yearly but they're bailed out by the government's printers
