Obviously extremely biased, but it's worth looking into for actually keeping long term (just write down the seed phrase for your wallet) unless you have an immediate need for cash. Although Monero has been performing well in a relative sense for the past few months, the entire crypto space is in a bear market and prices are low. Might go down more (who knows) but this generally isn't a great time from a financial perspective to try and liquidate it for fiat.
Depending on your country, you can look into exchanges like Kraken or just find a vendor that accepts Monero for something you want (Monero is money after all).
