STEVE AUSTIN Getting Back Into ‘In-Ring Shape’

Steve Austin had a chance to sit down for an Interview on Rich Eisen Show, where he talked about why he decided to return. As fans may know, Austin hasn’t wrestled since WrestleMania 19 where he lost to The Rock.
>“This opportunity comes up, Kevin Owens starts running me down and gets my attention. It was a thing where, I kind of said, ‘I’m never going to get in the ring again.’ In this business, never say never. I said I would never get in, but prompted by the right person at the right time, hell, I wish he would have pissed me off a little sooner than he did to give me more time to prep. Once you step into the ring, it’s like stepping onto a football field, that’s where business happens. We don’t know what it’s going to escalate to. I’ve been working on my conditioning. Had it been anywhere else other than Jerry’s Place….it’s a two-night event, WrestleMania is biggest show of the year, to be part of that is really special to me. I’m doing this for me. I’m going out there to have a damn blast. I’m gonna have fun and I’m gonna wear these two fists out on Kevin Owens. I’m sure he’s going to get some to because he’s had an amazing career. I’m glad he pissed me off when he did,” Austin added.

Austin spoke about WrestleMania 19 and addressed the injuries that made him leave. He opened up about how accumulation of injuries made him incapable of wrestling again and what this comeback means to him.
>“When I left, I didn’t want to leave. WrestleMania 19, my neck had presented some problems. After I got spiked and dropped on my head back in 99, I had three, four fused up, and it was time for me to ride off into the sunset and do something else. This comeback means a lot to me as I’ve been getting back into in-ring shape. I’m gonna go out there and do the absolute best I can.”

I hope he shoot suffers a life-ending injury in the ring KWAB

So they're going to run spots? Just do a match for fucks sakes

Very interesting indeed.

I will only pop for this match if Owens hits him with a piledriver

smartasses saying it was just an interview and stunner are looking real stupid now. pretty obvious from his promo it was going to be at least a brawl

yeah man a whole brawl nice, for sure

Why the fuck is he facing Owens who is getting jannettied by seth right now

This is going to be a total shitshow

Austin said he got in shape for when he beat the League of Nations that one Wrestlemania with Shawn and Foley
This doesn't mean shit

first it was "it's just a stunner lol", now i see youre shifting to "it's not going to be a whole brawl"

Austin would either look rusty as hell and embarrass himself or shoot be hospitalized if he did a full match after this much time off
Also KO is gay tattoo having blob of shit, nobody wants Austin's last actual match to be against him of all people

So he's going to keep his shirt on and throw his terrible punches and then do a stunner
lol

>owen hart possessed the body of a fat fuck to give steve austin one last piledriver
>next week on raw sami zayn falls to his death but instead of hitting the ground gets decapitated by razor wire like allah intended

vince has done it again

KINO

Wow you really showed him

>dropped on my head back in 99
Did he really say the wrong year or typo? Owen was dead by Summer Slam 99. The sit down tombstone was 97!

why dont people just admit maybe they got it wrong instead of trying to be a smartass about everything. it was obviously never just going to be a stunner, it's going to be a 3 minute brawl, and anybody who doesnt feel compelled to be an irritating smartass at all times could see that from day one. it was pretty clear in austin's promo
