What's the most overrated wrestlemania?

Not enough flips and dives for ya?

not enough good matches

Hi OP. Zoomers need to leave

I'm not a zoomer

Their match sure was overrated. Their 15 match was better.

It's 17 and nothing comes close.

No it wasn't

Absolutely 17. Literally just nostalgia for a video package

18, 30, 31.

Yes it was

No one rates 18 highly, 30 is aptly placed considering it's landmark number and moments having taken place that night.

Agree on 31. That might be more overrated
At least 17 was actually good and not just the result of everyone's expectations being at such a low that anything mediocre seemed amazing.

Okay but what's the most mid mania? Not good not bad just "hm, that was a wrestlemania"

All of the first 9 manias are shit.

There hasn't been a good Wrestlemania in years.

14.
There's like one good match on the card and it's not even Austin/Michaels.

19. Great actual wrestling on the show, but the booking is fucked.

Angle should've been a babyface against Brock.
Jericho should've beaten HBK.
Booker T should've beaten HHH.

Great wrestling, bad booking, yet people talk as if WM19 is the best ever. Maybe if you're a workrate nerd.

Wrestlemania was never good.

...

>Angle should've been a babyface against Brock.
Why? Angle was a better heel than face and they were pushing Brock to be the face of the company
>Jericho should've beaten HBK
Absolutely not. The finish worked fine and Jericho's character wasn't hurt by the loss at all. Plus it wasn't a strong going over either
>Booker T should've beaten HHH
That's the only one most people will agree with

the first Austin/Rock Wrestlemania and I say that without including anything past XX cause I don't give a shit

This. Now SUMMERSLAM? That's where the dimes are at.

>>Angle should've been a babyface against Brock.
>Why? Angle was a better heel than face and they were pushing Brock to be the face of the company

This is obviously not true, except the "pushing Brock to be the face of the company" part, and since this is the main event of the show, it carries extra weight.

It doesn't matter if Angle is a better heel if the babyface they're pushing is supposed to be the top face. What matters is whether Brock was better as a babyface or a heel, and the answer there was quite obvious. A big, hulking bully is a better heel. And he was a heel within a matter of months because of how big of a fail this push was.

Even with the botched SSP finish, Brock was unable to garner enough sympathy to remain a babyface.

Angle should've been the face. The one guy who can out wrestle the unstoppable monster who destroyed The Rock and everyone else in his path for months. Brock was super intimidating around this time and to see someone outwrestle and ultimately defeat him would've been huge.

In fact, we saw this play out in the proceeding months, with a better story to boot. The WM19 story was a shit story.
