The 1st AEW Womens Title had 3 problems -it was too small which was an homage to the old school women titles but people dont want tiny, they want big -the main plate was oval and curved. it made it look more small and crunched up -it was made out of rose gold and had very minimal designs which overall made it not pop out The 2nd AEW Womens Title tried solving some of the problems from the 1st title -it was definitely bigger now -main plate was flat and more circular -it was gold -the leather strap was redesigned to fit the shape of the main plate and the side plates were also redesigned However there were 2 issues with it. It still looked plain since there was nothing major on the main plate to make it really stand out and when Britt stood next to Jade, the TBS Title completely mogged it. It was quite shocking really just how small it still was.
The new AEW Womens Title solves every issue that the previous belts had.
