Two updates on Cody Rhodes in one week? Hot diggity dog.
In our biggest in a while, Fightful can confirm that there have been multiple offers on the table from wrestling companies, but haven't been able to confirm which remain on the table or if any are being signed. Companies and the Rhodes camp are all being tight lipped about it.
Fightful can confirm that at least one EVP in All Elite Wrestling as of last weekend fully believed that Cody Rhodes was signed or was signing with WWE and would face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. Again, we haven't confirmed that as of yet. WWE agents/producers have not been briefed on a Cody Rhodes impending debut or signing, or told of any plans about it as of yet. Those close to Cody said that he didn't even know that Damian Priest didn't use The Reckoning/Cross Rhodes on TV last week until we inquired about it. One WWE producer says they don't believe that could be an accident, though.
Cody and Brandi Rhodes were seen in Orlando last week. The two were at Disney with their daughter, Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green, and we weren't able to confirm that they did any other business while in Orlando, and hadn't heard of them being at the Performance Center one way or another.
We have confirmed that the Rhodes' are still working on some unscripted programming content, though we haven't learned if that is Rhodes to the Top, A Shot of Brandi, or something totally new.
Those that we've spoken to have insisted that Cody Rhodes is in great shape for whenever he does pop up.
