Compounding that issue will be those same people set to lose their primary basic food imports of wheat, corn, and other basic essentials. The rest of the world will have to step up to meet that demand, else we watch unknown extra millions of impoverished people starve to death. There is still good in the world, so reserves will be given to the starving nations, but the massive drain on reserves will be very real.
The Fed will personally hire hit squads to prevent housing prices from going down. Boomer rent and home equity is the most protected asset in the world.
