You should marry your high school sweetheart. 1 thing I've learned about relationships is that, as time increases expectations increase and it makes it hard to make memories (good or bad). Making memories is what counts.
Love is simply a connection between 2 people that grew together and (low IQ) can look back on their memories and experiences for direction, you also both make each other's lives better and there becomes a point where making theirs better more of a significant goal.
