I’m going to Vegas next week. Should I even bother with gambling? I thought maybe I’d fuck around with some slots but not even sure if I want to do that. Anyone have any tips?

>stay at a NICE hotel like the palazzo, not somewhere shit like circus circus. although you should definitely check out the old casinos
>eat at various world class chefs' restaurants
>play the low stakes texas hold'em table at the major casinos. if you play a tight game you are guaranteed to walk out with money
>smoke weed and fuck a hooker legally if that's your thing
>DON'T play suckers games that you can't win (almost all except poker)
>walk the strip and enjoy yourself

thanks fren, maybe I’ll book at mandalay bay

GREAT choice!! kind of gets bonus points in my book for the glowie paddock shooting but I forgot to mention
>hang out by the pool and take in the "sights..." lots of very cute and attractive young women will hang out there.
Mandalay Bay has an amazing pool with a man-made beach. You are going to have a great time

It's fun to blow a little money on slots. Just go in with a set amount of money you're going to spend and don't expect to hit a jackpot and win big, because you probably won't.

fuck slots. as a Any Forums poster i feel that it's my responsibility to guide OP to win.

OP, you can win at poker. That's it. Start your game at about 10ish pm when the tourists are starting to get toasty drunk. They will play loose and you will make money as long as you can manage your risk of getting rivered.

Play poker, either a nice 1/2 game or turbo-tourney. You get free drinks, good pace of play, and they're fucking fun.

If you like Blackjack some of the older casinos downtown have 1 deck games.

Literally the only reason I'd go to Vegas is to have sex with a hooker. It would be far more profitable than gambling

The tour videos on YouTube looked insane. Suites are actually affordable too.

My main problem is which casinos I should play at. I’ve heard that a lot of the big hotel casinos have a lower winning rate. But I’m sure that’s only when it comes to slots.

Next question: What would be a good amount of money to allocate for each day? I never travel so this is new to me and Google has shit for answers.

Great choice. Top sex professionals from around the world come to Vegas for work and you can get them delivered to your room, OP. OH and I forgot one more thing:
>MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS ON OPENTABLE! Otherwise, you are going to be waiting a long time for the decent restaurants.

Gambling is basically throwing your money away. The house has a huge advantage, you would be better off buying shitcoins.

I think you should go see Cirque du Soleil shows or try to get a ticket at the 20,000 leagues under the sea dining experience.

Poker takes skill and practice to win, though. Slots are just mindless entertainment. You just have to go in with the right attitude, I look at putting $100 on some slot machines as no different than buying $100 of lottery tickets. It's just pure luck, but you do have a tiny chance to hit it big.

It's enjoyable for me. Just set limits for yourself and don't go nuts. It's a vacation, how can you go to Vegas and not gamble a bit. But just my $0.02.

Noted. Looking at restaurants now.
Any recommendations?

The Wynn has the best looking guests, probably the best younger crowd on the strip

Any game where you play vs. the house, you will pretty much lose. Poker is different because you are playing against other guests.

Totally cool, everyone's got their preferences. Oh, by the way, if you are a sports fan, you might enjoy lounging around some of the sports books. Caesar's has a legendary one.

There is a Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, see if you can get in there. You will need a reservation. Besides that, Wing Lei at Wynn Encore was some of the best Chinese food I've ever had.

During my last visit, I stayed at the Palazzo for a week. Originally I had booked the Venetian, but I snuck the receptionist a $50 and got upgraded to Palazzo with a higher floor (same plot, newer building that is connected to Venetian). By the way, the pools there a fucking amazing. If you like Italian food, that place is heaven. There is also a Steakhouse run by Emeril Legasse there (Delmonico Steakhouse). Otherwise, just check around. Vegas has everything you want.

Again, I cannot stress enough the importance of OpenTable and planning. You should open an Excel spreadsheet and literally plan out your itinerary

>Save money and stay at a cheap motel, dont bother with those over price fancy resorts
>Dont eat for days then eat for free at the Heart Attack Grill by finishing one of the those fat fuck killers
>Play nothing but slots, maybe digital black jack if youre feeling risky
>Do some meth in the tunnels under the city, maybe rape some people there
>All extra cash should be spent at Fat Tuesdays while walking the strip being as obnoxious as possible, every time youre down to your last 1/3rd then you should find your closest Fat Tuesday's and refill
>Wear full sleazecore and look as gaudy as possible
Oh, and the most important thing is to have fun.

>the palazzo

I suggest the Excalibur or Caesar's palace. Tacky themed hotels have a more vegas-y feel to them.

I look at gambling as a way to spend my time. Usually when im there i just fluctuate between being +\- $300

Like you’re up 200 then your down 150 then you’re up 400. It’s pretty fun. With friends you can take turns and waste even more time.

I like roulette the most. I hit the number a few times in my life which is like a 2% chance.

But yeah, i use the gambling as something to do in between events or while waiting for friends or before my dinner reservation. Have a good time bro.

trashy although heart attack grill is kinda fun

I don't think Caesar's is too tacky, although their rooms are outdated. Their sportsbook is fucking cool. Excalibur is nightmarish though, I wouldn't be caught dead there.

Sushi fever has some of the best sushi I've had anywhere in the world.

I'm going out in August for a friend's wedding. Just a handful of us, so we planned on doing some fun shit together during the week. Renting motorcycles at some point and he wanted to rent goofy cars to take up to red rock or valley of fire. We were looking at rental lambos and shit and the private sector is hilarious and very cheap. You can get some cool muscle car or other classic that isn't showroom perfect for less than a boring crossover from the airport.
Think we are staying at the MGM, good package deal for the flights and rooms together.
What are the best museums and places like that to see?

You can rent high end sports cars like a Lamborghini hurrican and have fun driving in the desert

Meow Wolf and Area 15 in general are fun. If you want classic musicals you could check what's playing at the Smith center.
