Consultant user here. It's been a long week, once I started work I pretty frequently hit a need for tools and processes that I didn't have in place. Still managed to get the job done, think the client will be pleased. I'm going to spend next week writing a task checklist to make the next time easier.

If you like to vacation then set a goal that every XX,XXX SAVED not earned = vacation. Then try and work towards hitting the vacation earnings every day.
Also maybe look into SMART goals.

The vacation part is more a general motivational thing. We can go on vacation already, but the thought of paying for it from the profits I made from my own company gives me a boost.

The only way is, either wage slave for 15 years saving like 40% of salary or well get a loan (wich is risky as fuck) or could get some friends or something to "be my investors" but even then i dont think i could get that much capital to be honest.
Find out what product you want to make with your skills, figure out what makes it better / worse than current products. Write out proformas and plans, get angel investments.

It is likely that we can find some uses for your microbio background. We can try to replicate existing non-patented cosmetic products, try to create GMO means to produce things like fragrances/excipients, and test for contamination in the production line.
We can also consider becoming producers of research reagents, rather than the medical researchers ourselves. (Mexico produces plenty of agricultural goods, it shouldn't be too hard to get ahold of some cheap items to ferment into research chemicals).

Well, im not sure, i mean i have some ideas like for example Bioplastic based Petri dishes.
I mean, im writting a "Executive resume" of a plan of the above idea but even then its not like "i want to do it" to be honest i would like to focus in health microbiology, like Medical micology for example but i dont really know of ideas of any products to innovate there.
Must be noted though that graduated "recently" from my career so almost 8 months ago and im waiting for the fucking cuck UNI to give me my fucking "title" or "papers" and such, so so far i have exercised mostly by"profesional practices" in this case the Meat microbology sector.
