I don't really understand the logics or basis of crypto. I'm a little late to the party, I know. Have lived under a rock for about a decade. Much like looking for information on working out, if you go out on a search engine and seek a primer on the systematics, it's all ads and scams. Is there one place I can read about it all?

I bought a single unit of Chainlink, a little 0chain and some XRP, after a friend told me to, but I'd like to strike out on my own. Most info I've seen on these specific cryptocurrencies seem to assume that you're already quite versed in the principles of the phenomenon.

i mean you gotta be a normie right? just buy some bitcoin, learn how to secure your private keys, then don't look at it again for 10 years

oh also read "the internet of money" for the "why" you're buying bitcoin

you're just gonna lose your money of you try anything else. its unironically requires 130+ IQ

>Normie
No, more like a paranoid schizo who has almost quite literally lived under a rock for a decade. Innawoods type shit. I read a lot, exclusively physical books. No idea what my IQ is.

Am I still banned

Guess not
As an innawoods schizo I'll do what I can to help.

What exactly don't you understand?

Jewish cabal released a whitepaper to prove that when you leave your car running over night it solves sudoku puzzles and those solutions can be used for drug transactions online which everybody loves because it pushes the globohomo agenda of degeneracy while masquerading as a sort of privacy or decentralization revolution so the sheep using it believe they're punks or some shit.

Pretty wild imo

I think I'm a bit overwhelmed trying to get a handle on the more complex stuff. When I left, Bitcoin was hardly a big deal. I do get the very basics, it's a digital currency whose strength is in a ledger encoded within that is supported by those who maintain the blockchain. What I'm most unclear on is the stuff that comes after Bitcoin itself, like these currencies-within-currencies and "smart contracts". Smart contracts are supposed to make normal business agreements, like loans or work contracts publicly verifiable in a way that exists outside of the legal regime of the state? Or am I misunderstanding the purpose? As an autist, these recursive sub-currencies, like 0chain, which my friend told me to invest in, they fry my brain a little. It is in some way tethered not to the value of Ethereum but its ledger? How do people cross-compare the utility of these platforms, with so many?

It’s a Ponzi scheme with seemingly no one in charge. Because of that you can try to out Ponzi others.

You should start where it all started, Satoshi's 2008 whitepaper: bitcoin.com/bitcoin.pdf
That way you will know what Bitcoin is. Then you will realize BTC is NOT that anymore (it wasn't allowed to be cash).
Have fun with that rabbit hole!

You've come to the right place fren, this is the place for open, honest and friendly discussion about cryptocurrency. Everyone's got your back and has your best interest at heart at all times. Enjoy yourself.

You haven't misunderstood. That's the gist of smart contracts. At the end of the day it's just programmable money.
>0chain
Don't really know it, sorry.
Sounds like some sort of stablecoin protocol?
>How do people cross-compare the utility of these platforms, with so many?
Learn about the space, how it works, how might it cause disruption, try to find gems early this way. Take loans for example. Awhile back, you couldn't use your crypto as collateral. Then boom a project comes out (probably save formally LEND) that lets you take a loan against your crypto using smart contracts without asking for any permission with a click of the button. Anything that really innovates is a no brainer. Look for innovative shit like that, to do this, you'll have to learn more about the space and what is currently being used.

(probably aave formally LEND)*

Are there any other centralized places to learn, certain publications perhaps? My friend sent me here. This is all I know. As stated previously, I'm finding that search engines are now lacking the utility they had for me ten years ago. Info-hypersaturation, wherever that was first coined, now feels incredibly real.

Sorry, I mean, centralized places for news and information about new projects.

>basics
All you really need to know is the price goes up and down. Look for patterns. Coinmarketcap and tradingview are good for finding coins and charts.

>calls babs a hooknosed jew live on hbo
>gets an oscar nominated role in a pedo allen film
>gets his ass kissed by barbara walters who isn't the least bit offended by him
Is there a more based jew than the diceman?

this, the internet is as bad as it got because of scumfuck baby noobs getting spoonfed shit, ESPECIALLY on Any Forums

holy fuck i've been here 15 years and the FIRST meme i was indoctrinated to was to lurk more. people just didn't fucking tell you shit for asking. what the fuck have you done for us, fuckhead OP? we need to get back to that. fuck you, OP

murk loar

The internet is as bad as it has gotten because of the exponential increase in users and because, to refer to your own binary here, oldfags and newfags flood it with different types of bullshit. I've stated it twice now, most of what makes shit impossible to glean from lurking is the massive amount of disinfo in volumes that eclipse anything observable in 2006 when I first got here. The internet wasn't 500k pages of ads, scams, or secret clubs. Everything was publicly accessible, there were only a handful of places to go, and information wasn't as frequently poisoned.
