Bumping.

Not sure if the reply came in. But I also got a free method for those who know how to upload wordpress themes.

Can post for whoever wants, I made 1.2k this morning with a few hours of work, and probably going to need a few more hours to complete the work.

I've done some wordpress shit before, and am sitting on my ass today. What do you got?

80+ Site user checking in with an update.

The website that really blew up that was requiring its own supplement is now getting processed. Deposit was given and operations are beginning.

Label was approved by me from the designer, and bottles are being made as I write this. Starting with 6,500 open mouth 16 oz jars of powder with half pure powder half in one gram vegan jumbo capsules.

The plan: Woo commerce store with existing traffic from blog currently getting 50k visits a month in this exact topic.

While I evaluate how fast my supply goes on the woo commerce store I will also being getting professional product photography done of the new product. Will make listings for both eBay and Amazon and prepare my next batch to be sent to a 3rd party fulfillment center and Amazon fulfillment center. Probably around 5k units per fulfillment center.

Working on a 2nd supplement already for upsells and one small item for downsells. Will report in on that soon.

I can post the numbers from the proforma which I estimate from my previous supplement sales, web traffic, email list, and avg cost. If anyone care to see how I made the decision to make my own supplements vs affiliate I can post that as well.

I've been too lazy to finish my shopify site. Finally got off my ass to hire a designer to clean up some art assets but that's about it.

One day I'll make it.

It's easy and fast.

I hired a VA (You can do this manually)

To do the following:

1. Go to google and type in "restaurants " You can also use google search operators to look for just contact forms

Example: Restaurant Seattle wa "contact us" in google

2. Made a new gmail account something like [email protected]

3. Used the googled contact form and email they have listed on their site to contact them.

4. In the message said something like "Hello,

My name is Jimbob from XYZ WebDesign company in . I recently got stiffed by a client in which I made an entire website including full local seo done (To help him rank on google). The work amounted to $5,500 in labor, resources, and time. The client decided he did not want to pay, so I am offering all this offer. Half off or lower than what he would have paid. The website is currently in demo mode all the content can be changed and I can plug in Doordash/Uber eats, your menu system, or ordering system for free. Like I said I am just trying to recoup some of the money put into this site, please give me a call or email if you are interested. I am willing to negotiate, my loss is your gain.

5. The trick is to find categories of themes on themeforest, and link them to demo pages (Host your own to remove the BUYNOW links). But basically you want them to see the value so pick a really good theme. (PS: You can download nulled themes which I do not recommend, but it is possible.)

6. Once you get the response negotiate the rate. I negotiated down to 1.2k after about 2 different phone calls, and I have to integrate his email marketing mailchimp and his current menu basically.

I used VA to do the outreach, imagine if you automate the process. I have so much other shit going on, but I was testing it for a buddy of mine who asked me for something and It ended up working.

dude, this is pretty fucking smart. Where did you learn all this shit, or if you're entirely self taught (kudos), can you point me to anywhere decent?

What is a VA?

also, I'm a professional product photographer with lots of experience in other creative fields (product/graphic design, writing, videography, social media). I can send you my portfolio, and if you may need some advice on the photography side of things.

Virtual Assistant / outsourcer

Just been in the game for awhile, my buddy mentioned he wanted to try it. I told him I'd test it. It's not really something that can be saturated unless you live in another anons or my buddies town.

He comes up with weird shit all the time, he came up with a nice little review method for restaurants too. We share different little methods and see what scales and try to build little assets off of them. This particular one I will not be going forward with, I do not know if he will be going forward with it either. We try different shit until we find things that can be scaled easily and semi-passive.

Which is why we love our blogs so much, it's almost™ 100% hands-off once you get the content generation in place and hire great people.

I would love to discuss a possible short video

Fuck I am a retard. Would love to see what kind of short product videos you have done. This particular niche this supplement is in does really well on instagram and short form video is something I barely dabble in.

I’m here if anyone needs logos, in exchange for bitcoin or xmr

man I wish I had more mates like that to discuss ideas over with. You've given some stuff to think about that I could probably tie in with my current expertise, it's much appreciated. I like the sales angle tied to what you're doing.

I've not done any short videos before, is this something you see there's a high demand in? I've only ever done 5-8 minute videos were it's action and product reviews. My entire niece is in soccer. Are you in America? I'm Australian based.

What SaaS should exist or could be massively improved?

Very high demand for short 15-45 second product videos. Send me your product portfolio, currently my photography guy charges around $900 for product shots and a 3d mockup.

I usually just send him around 10 bottles and he sends me the work after a couple weeks.

hey guys. my first time in one of these threads, i don't really browse Any Forums.

i'm a software engineer, been in the field full-time for a few years now and did a bunch of side projects when i was a student. at this point i have gained knowledge of the entire application stack for building out a web application, from data stores to backend API dev to frontend web dev to devops and change management and everything else.

i'd like to launch my own startup SaaS business as I know how to develop a product from start to finish, but I have zero business knowledge and don't even know how to go about finding a niche in the market that i could build a SaaS platform for and profit from.

any tips on how to get better at business-specific stuff?

The most underserved market is the mining and commodities market IMO.

You can do outreach to those types of businesses and get an idea of what they are struggling with, what kind of software they currently use and what they do not like about their current solutions / what they are lacking from it.

You can even just make a quick survey thing to email to the people in any industry and see if you can identify a trend.

I also think crosslisting on the 3rd party marketplaces is impossible. If you can find a way to cross list from eBay -> Facebook Marketplace - > Amazon -> Etsy -> Mecari, etc.

If you can find a way to automate this 100% my girl would be your best customer, I think the market is big enough for this. The current solution is about 50k a year with a 10k setup fee, and its done automatically.

>The current solution is about 50k a year with a 10k setup fee, and its done automatically
not him but could you please elaborate on this? i always assumed that crosslisting was a saturated market

It seems saturated because you have things like Inkfrog, accerlist, zonbase, etc. But they are not 100% automated.

Not only that but they mainly have a userbase that has their own brand of products that they can control in stock. There is no SAAS affordable solution for resellers. People who barely have multiples of the same item.

The only service that is 100% automated is Channel Advisor. The reason why this is the best for resellers is because they will remove the listing or change the amount of instock items as the others sell at the other marketplaces. So if you only have 1 in stock ipod and one sells on amazon, it pulls all the other listings.

It's also very expensive because they are dealing with big ass brands that can afford the expense.

Inkfrog, accerlist, and all the other ones are semi-automatic and too hands on for most resellers for actually get any value out of them. Even then they do not automatically pull listings, you have to go through there everyday and pull them manually, which leads to multiple sales sometimes and if you do not have multiples of the item you are fucking SOL and can get banned.

So having this geared towards resellers at an affordable price resellers can afford would be clutch as fuck. There is also tons of ways to guerilla market your SAAS for resellers as there is a gagillion reseller youtube channels who would love a revenue share for referrals.

Let's say I want to make a puppet show like South Park, where do I go for writers, voice actors and really cheap animators to wiggle those shitty Toonboom puppets around?

post your email with the exact credentials everywhere you go and watch hundreds of 'colab offers.' From then on filter out the retarded ideas and build a quick prototype see if it sells. mirin' tech skills btw

that's really interesting, thanks for the detailed answer!. definitely gonna check out channel advisor to see how they operate compared to the other ones you listed. i'll try to figure out how long it'll take me to build out something like this and go from there

kek extremely based. this sounds like an amazing idea, gathering insights on different industries and building out something that people need
