People fear change. Also
>brand loyalty
>want to play game
>all the good heroes cost 130000$ because crypto investors
>can only play the dogshit character you always lose with
axie infinity is a prime example of this
NFT Horse Armor
which game?
it's infested with autistic trannies and furries
kek, it looks like a shitty hearthstone clone. I will give it a try
bunch of NPCs
It's a card game
The sales model should be no different from other card games that sell you card packs with the exception that you can trade it to other people
nocoiner poorfags and "muh GRAFIX CARDERINOS"
gamers got fucked in the ass by micro transactions and now they're pissed games want to extract more money from them
also a lot of retards think that NFT automatically means it's $100k and they're poor, neckbeard, neet retards with no money. so they get scared
>why are the gaming community against money laundering scams
Ftfy
this thread is textbook example of elitism. there's a reason god abandoned us
I don't play video games but there's this whole "pay to win" issue, and incremental release and subscribe issue, and microtransaction issue, and lootbox/gambling issue... I just watch a bunch of tech youtubers who occasionally made rants about this, but apparently it's bad.
Indeed gamers have an extremely broad negative sentiment and consensus against NFT's, I noticed and also found it slightly over the top
You all realize NFT's will replace real possessions once you all get permanently installed into the pod right? They will turn everyone into a Matrix style pod dweller.
t. I've seen Ready Player One twice.
Why twice? I didnt make it through once.
because gamers are imprisoned in a very restrictive dopamine feedback cage and can't handle any perceived modifications to it
>why do people dislike reintroducing scarcity into a post scarcity digital world
I have no idea
How much money have you lost in nfts? Be honest.
>people who spend all their free time on escapism are highly susceptible to groupthink
shocking turn of events
they also have ptsd from shit like lootcrates and horse armor shitting up their preferred leisure activity and presume that nfts will just be an extension of this when in reality any proper implementation of nfts in video games will be infinitely better than those things and in fact obsolete that kind of kikery.
This, do any of you guys that don't play vidya understand? It's about implementing MORE ways to goad gamers into paying more for garbage in-game content. More opportunities for profit= consumer suffering for the past 10 years of this industry.
Diablo 3 botched the RMT auction house. Would have been perfect for items as NFTs.
