Retirement Country

What country are you planning to retire in once you make it?

Wife is Mexican so we'll probably head down there and have a nice hacienda.

LMAO you've seen too many movies, burger. The only thing you're gonna have is your ass handed to you

Isnt the current state of mexico kinda bad? Mexico at this stage is not a country, it's a land of different individual cartel controlled areas which have pretty much own rulers each areas

Tourist areas are probably safe but the reason they are safe is that cartel protects them :D

Jeb!

I'm a leaf sir.

I heard near Mexico City isn't that bad. I think depends on where in the country you are.

Funny to think that Jeb!'s grandfather, Prescott Bush, was a eugenicist. I wonder what he would've thought of his grandson marrying a 4'6 goblina. kek

Yes It could be that in mexico city the offical government is in power unlike other parts of country

It varies state by state, Yucatan is safer than the US on average, Mexico (the state itself) is the worst followed by Chihuahua and Baja.

Last I heard Mexico city is one of the most dangerous places in the country. That was a few years ago though, things might have changed

It is by total homicides, Colima is statistically the worst but with a low population (half million).

Fuck it we're going to Merida in the Yucatan

which age of empires town center is this

for me it's buenos aires, seems comfy

OP, can you post more houses like that ? In game art and real if possible. I really like it. It's called hacienda ?

Hacienda are basically homestead/plantations in Latin America.

mexico varies, it’s unpredictable, and the ability to understand or know what’s really happening here is even less than the us because the line between cartel, politician, rebel group are all so blurred. they also murder journalists on the regular. i’d rather take my chances as a dual citizen living here in a safer white area where even the most absurd cost of living pales in comparison to the us. it’s not what most people think it is, that’s for sure. there’s alot of people here who shit bricks if you suggest it’s actually dangerous here and then cite us problems with public shootings. i agree, honestly. here, even in the worst part of the country, the likelihood of someone spraying people in a supermarket for no reason is unlikely. there is some places where you can experience gang violence/crime as an uninvolved civilian, but (if you’re white and comparatively wealthy and your lifestyle reflects that) it’s not likely. key is to stay the fuck out of highly contested and prized areas, don’t broadcast your wealth, stay low key, get your income from out of the country.

i want to retire in puerto rico. but it's definitely not third world cheap, unless you want to risk death in some shithole area of the country.

Portugal or the Mediterranean
