>people unironically thought that because some random company said their home was increasing in value that it actually was

Where?

>this same company that people have this faith in went bankrupt due to their zestimate predictions being so wrong

New England

Wait, do people really sit around and jerk off to these realtor site value estimates?

Unironically yes. It's even funnier when you realize baby boomers dumped their entire 401ks in multiple properties over the last year assuming they'll continue to outpace inflation. Most of it isn't fully owned. It's all mortgaged.

It's worse in Canada where you can only get a 5 year fixed split across 25 years.

Imagine the boomer suicides when their pensions get wiped out from 8% interest rates on their 3 properties. Most aren't even renting because they can't keep up with the maintenance. They just hold them as speculative investments

Well, as a man once said:
>let the bodies hit the floor.

Excuse me but wtf? I bought it in 2018 for 130k. Where is this horseshit number coming from?
>212k

>browse new listings

It kills me. Homes like that used to be perfect for picking up

bubble niggers

>browse new listings
>another 1960s 1400 square foot boomershack flip
>stainless steel fixtures (cheapest brand available)
>laminate wood flooring (cheapest brand available)
>gray paint (cheapest brand available)
>HVAC, roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, etc. presumably in shambles
>$375k asking, last sold in 2019 for $235k

These are even worse imo. I'd much rather work with original fixtures and finishes than some boomer's cheap and lazy "flip" installed by sloppy Mexicans.

zestimate is BS. zillow bought a bunch of homes FOR OVER ASKING PRICE. now they are stuck holding the bag. There are interviews from the sellers online where they say how they can't believe someone would pay almost double asking unwarranted. it was because their proprietary 'zestimate' told them too. they lost millions cause of it lol. housing will crash soon

id take sloppy mexicans over overpriced crackhead white dudes.

Who cares about a 20-30% correction when you’ve locked in generation low mortgage rates in the 2.X% range? I will just rent my property out and hodl.

I HATE THE ANTICHRIST

nigger/spic muttoid hybrid detected

20-30% correction

This is about what I think will happen, however that is enough to make people act like the world is on fire.

you got played and scared into buying the top, interest rates can go lower in our lifetime

>browse new listings
>another new construction, 2200 square foot goycattle townhouse

By the time we see rates that low again, the house I closed on for $400K will be worth over a million. Meanwhile zoomer rentoids will have paid off my mortgage.

>Rents at a loss
heh nothing personnel
