>vitalik is a 100% sjw homo commie how does that surprise you?
Ayden Torres
What are you saying?
Jason Morgan
>fairer voting systems That's 100 dorarusu for 1 vote capitalist swine
Jeremiah Johnson
That doesn't really matter. If ethereum wins and turns out to be sound money then it doesn't matter what his or your political opinions are. The love of money is the root of all evil, boiled that down a little bit more, money is the root of all evil, boil that down again, money is the root. At the heart of every civilization is the means of exchange. If your money is corrupt your population will inevitably be corrupt. We are currently using debt as a monetary system, infinite debt. Our money is literally the most corrupt form of money you can get aside from severed baby heads or some shit. Introducing sound money into the world would inevitably return our society's to morality.
Blake Ward
we will part of the great reset the great wealth transfer, our wealth
ETH L1 will never win, even Vitalik admits it's impossible. ETH L2 may win but that ETH L2 would lack the key feature of decentralization. Basically ETH has already lost it can not proceed without compromising its core value
>if a monetary system is corrupted then its doomed to failure >eth started life as a giant premine, has no supply cap, and vitalik has printed all his wealth keep going....youre almost there
Noah Morris
That's not true at all, you just have no idea what they're doing. Ethereum layer 1 is a store value. Maybe even a better store of value than Bitcoin ever since they started burning gas. They are making layer one always with security and decentralization as the primary concerns. They are not trying to build ethereum as a payment system, it doesn't need to be a payment system. If your base layer is the strongest it can extend that security to the upper layers while acting as a store of value for the upper layers as well.
Jace Miller
Whats stopping someone from just forking Eth 2.0 and making it so it isnt as cucked as the shit version?
Jordan Wright
>If your base layer is the strongest it can extend that security to the upper layers No it fucking can't, that's a cope. Your L2 is only as secure and decentralized as your L2, it doesn't inherit the security and decentralization of your L1.
Hunter Rivera
It doesn't inherit the decentralization but it does inherit security from layer one because you have to go through layer 1 to get to layer 2.
Josiah Ortiz
I've always thought this since the beginning of defi and how stupid eth is to actually use L2s are dumb tho, I don't see any benefit to them being actually associated with ETH in terms of their interoperability with the ETH chain vs having ETH + BTC running on AVAX subnets to facilitate their store of value use case. Like what fcking reason is there for any of these L2s to continue to exist other than to try to run off with as much ETH/BTC as possible?
Jace Bennett
Plus decentralization in an of itself is going to add security as well, so it also benefits from the decentralization. So which chain would you like to build your layer 2 upon, the one that's touted as the most secure or another one that regularly has double spending events or yet another one that regularly crashes during a high load, or perhaps one that has such low fees as subject to DDOS aka transaction spam.

Bullish for kleros
Carter Ramirez
Well you just have to look at the people creating it and what you're buying. You could say the exact same thing about Bitcoin and ethereum and pretty much any layer one or any token for that matter, what's the point of them existing other than to steal your dollars? People used to say that all the time about early coins now here you are saying that about l2s.
Xavier Gutierrez
Idk, you could just, like, not build a cashgrab L2 dubble spedn will not be a thing people remember really much more than any early hiccups in ETH things are chugging along, and the reality is ETH sucks at defi, there's no reason for it to exist other than as a store of value, it's just an NFT of itself I wouldn't say it's the same thing, the scam of L2s is that they should continue to be developed, Im not saying this about EARLY coins, Im saying this about LATE ass coins that clearly lack the best tech/scalability and just have no longevity vs an L0 like AVAX that fundamentally changed the meta here
Dominic Anderson
He’s talking about Kleros just so you know >source? MY ASS
Ryder Hernandez
No you're not saying that about early coins because now you're late if you were early those early coins would be current and you'd probably be saying the same thing about those. In the end just be careful what you buy. No doubt there's going to be later to scams. Like they're still new scams going on all the time.
Aaron Perry
Ah, the darling. Too bad ETH is just a beta test of Codius. Good work though, truly.
