Have a bump. If anyone’s interested, I’m providing translation services for xmr and bitcoin. That includes content creation in different languages.

Chess user checking in for another comfy thread.

Hi fellow entrepreneurs, checking in to say been following these generals for a month and i've been inspired to start my first website based on a niche i find interesting and well, i'm posting here so i can get a few tips and general help, if you please. Thanks in advance.

So what i want to do is start a webpage about cannabis, to fill it with information, guides, tutorials and general content about the plant. I'm a beginner grower but I love all things kush related, and I also think i can enjoy the whole process of creating the site, gathering information, cure it and give it an article shape to post on my site for people to visit, use, and learn something in the way. The goal of course would also be to sell growing and gardening products . So for example i post an article about deficiencies and plagues and would offer the pertaining product to treat those deficiencies and plagues.

What i'm looking for in this post is to introduce myself, to give my sincere thanks to every user that gave input and life to this general, and also to find some direction, because i wouldn't know how to start doing this. I already have the domain but i don't know anything else about making websites, and I know there's a fellow user here that has 80+ of these that can help me get started. If anyone else can give some information it would be great.

>So for example i post an article about deficiencies and plagues and would offer the pertaining product to treat those deficiencies and plagues
reverse what you're thinking. Start an online store for growing supplies and use your articles/blogs to drive traffic to it. Focus more on starting and running a retail operation than as a blog

I want to start a SaaS but I don’t have any problems that need solving with software

Yeah but how about i start with a blog and for a few months i post only info and guides and such, and get traffic and a following on social media, also set up a store page with a "coming soon" label, get SEOd and then start selling products? I say this mainly because i don't have the means to get stocked on products right now, but I could do it in a few, let's say 6 months tops. It would give time for SEO to do it's thing and get a nice position on google results and such

Make something to automatically schedule meetings by comparing everyone's google/microsoft/apple calendars.

Does anyone order miscellaneous items from Alibaba and resell them on eBay for a profit? Ulitimately i want to scale up and get into FBA but i think it would be wise to start up small and test products with 30-50 units and see what works and what doesn't. My main hurdle at the moment is trying to find a system that helps me figure out what will sell and what wont..

Oh shidd, I forgot to add the discord link:

Howdy again friend! I shall keep this in mind for future ventures once I have some digital products ready, cheers!

Well met, chess user! How goes sideways world? Your lengthy and in-depth article got me inspired to write more as well. Not lacking in topics, just how to allign all the side quests.. might have to investigate Trello which Grandmaster user mentioned. Have ye been using the Jasper AI then? How're ye finding it?

Howdy there Green user and welcome!
This is a cozy plan to be sure and has a hugely diverse and expanding audience, I reckon you're onto something good here.
Do you have an idea of how to set up a simple, yet smooth site via wordpress or shopify? This may be the best starting point - I suggest the latter due its integrated and very customizable shop as well as quite cheap plans. Just gather the content and start writing valuable, SEO content, while researching good margin/well selling items to fill the store with. Aim for fewer quality items over a general store; too many SKUs hurt my brain and may not even be profitable. All the best, friend, I look forward to seeing this progress!

Howdy user and welcome! You could research the most discussed problems in software, niche it down, see what suits your abilities and approach.

Greetings user! This is indeed a large portion of the ebay sales volume - pick a niche you dig, use terapeak or other sales data tools to see what sells best and is not saturated and ideally be able to private-label your products for the added 'authenticity'.
Have ye a niche of interest yet?

>I had a client refuse to pay a $250 invoice (I did a good job they just wanted to be a shit)
>Tell them that I would send it collections.
>They didn’t care at all.
>emailed them back a couple of days later saying I was going to send the invoice to “factoring” which is almost the exact thing as sending it to collections just that I sell the invoice to a company that hounds them for money.

>They end up paying like 10 minutes later via Venmo

Lol

Thank you OP, you're a great guy, keep it up!!
>Do you have an idea of how to set up a simple, yet smooth site via wordpress or shopify?
I mean, kinda. I would have to take the rust out but yeah, i had a little exp in the past. What are SKUs? Thanks for the tips bro, will post progress once i get started!

>Client owes mid five figures
>Been almost a year on our accounts receivable
>All calls from us get denied
>Calls that are not our number get answered
>Gets served
>Take to court
>He never shows up
>Instawin.jpg
>Has 9-5 job apparently
>Opportunity to garnish wages
>Choose to sell the debt
>Finally calls out of nowhere 1 year after court
>Tells us his car got repossessed and wants it back
>Don't own the debt anymore bucko
>Maybe answer your phone we would have settled for way less

I hated working with advertisers that refused to pay, especially if I was the one driving the leads inhouse and knew the exact quality they were getting.

For whatever reason he decided he wanted to be on net 90 terms after prepaying for almost a year. After payment was due he tried to run away with 90 days worth of leads without paying. Leads aren't just free or easy work and he learned the lesson. Also do not buy a BMW 5 series that isn't an M series because I doubt that covered the full settlement.

> Have ye been using the Jasper AI then? How're ye finding it?
I really like it. For 2 out of the 3 articles I've tried to write on it so far it has worked well. For the other one, which was a specific story of a particular chess match, it kept getting details wrong, which was annoying. It seems to not think much of changing a number by a couple of %, so that's something to watch out for, but overall I highly recommend it. It basically paid for itself in the first half hour.

> might have to investigate Trello
I've been using Click Up but I think it's the same idea basically

If its somthing your doing as a hobby, one blog every 2 weeks is fine but that doesnt drive sales. To turn it into a business you have to have to be pumping out content constantly and not just blogs but create a social media presence too.

What is a good rate to shoot for in terms of blog posts for driving traffic?

Well actually the general idea is to own and operate a brick and mortar growshop, in order to make it happen i figured the best way to do it was to start doing thins this way until I can get the money to do so. So, i thought that i could start by getting an online store operational while keeping my regular job, and make it work somehow until I can quit my job and dedicate to the grow business full time. What do you think? Do you have more tips or insight?

Glad you guys could get your money back

Honestly shipping in the US is so outrageous
Just go to China and buy China fill the bag and bring back to the us and sell the shit or on boat

5 pillar posts 5k words each these are your big terms. 30 articles I like to call query based articles. Start with that and grow from there. So if you are selling dog training:

I attached an example of pillars and queries.

You should link all your pillars to one another, and then link relevant queries in a tiered structure.

Doing this you will maximum the link juice to your main pillar articles that prop up your site and help you rank for those kick ass terms while ranking for those terms people will search for. I used dog training in the example but it can be used for anything.

This is the basics of interlinking posts and having relevant content.

How ever long it takes you to write the 5k pillars and queries is up to you. But you want to aim for at least 6 pillars and at least 30 queries. Then from there wait a year for new sites and half a year for sites that have been around for a year or so and hope Google considers yourself an authority.

Here you go
