Today's, this month's, or even this year's price movements don't matter. Instead, I'm looking for returns over the next 10+ years, maybe longer depending on anti-aging tech.
I got into crypto around mid-last year despite hearing people talk about bitcoin and Ethereum when it first came out. My portfolio is mainly ETH, and I want to do something with it before the ETH2 merge. After a quick search, I learned about liquid staking on the ETH2 pools (Lido, Ankr, StaFi), where you can stake your EHT and get another token to trade while your main assets are staked on the ETH2 pool with a reasonable interest rate. (6.17% APY in StaFi). So the question is, what are the pros and cons of liquidy staking?
Nothing is unfixable or impossible in this world especially tow genius person like Vitalik

He has large dev team

Can you fix your old car while driving on the highway? He's not genius. Praising and worshipping are for the weak, those who can't build value by themselves.

>centralized kek. On a serious note, this is true in both directions. If Vitalik continues to live he WILL guide the fixes needed for ETH. It will thrive and stay spot 2 after BTC for our lifetime (I don't believ in a flippening for reasons) but if something happens to him ethereum is done despite having the largest pool of working people in all of crypto. It's a personality cult but there are good reasons to drink his koolaid.

BTC is boomer garbage. ETC is a strictly improved version of it. Only people with a goldbug mindset don't see this.

It's not about worshipping. You can not ignore the intelligence of a person who created sth big on the age of less than 20

For liquid staking I am using StaFi and so far eo good

If you're planning to hold on to your ETH for a long period anyway, sure, you might as well stake them. The APR isn't all that great (something like 4-6% right now) compared to other investments (even stocks), but it's still better than just holding (aka 0% APR). Don't know much about staking pools, I think Lido is probably the most solid one. I myself am solo staking on my own little PC for half a year. That requires at least 32 ETH and a bit of tech savvy though.

What the fuck is this liquid staking?
Jace Torres
When you stake your ETH on an ETH2 pool like Lido and StaFi, in return you get another token stETH, rETH which shows how much ETH you staked in their platform. You are free to trade that tokens or Stake them again.
