Today I realized why Satoshi invented BTC. Why didn't you guys tell me before? Maybe you didn't realize the full scope of his plan either.
Finland is planning to give up cash money altogether. Most people applaud this decision because "boo cash is old fashioned". They think this simply means their money will be the same, just in digital form. But no, this is just a prelude for EU's "digital euro" payment system. The end goal is to have control on people's money. With a digital currency, the government could prevent you from making payments. For instance, they could enforce covid-19 restrictions by making your money useable only within 5 miles from your home. You could be given automated fines. You could be prohibited from buying meat because "you have exceeded your carbon footprint quota". And just think of the behavioral data you'd get from all this.. Just the fact that this would make billions and billions for governments is proof that this will happen. And Satoshi saw this in advance. He wanted to empower people in this dark situation.
we have told you all along but you probably dismissed is as maxi ramble
and the coin is xmr not btc
Luke Phillips
Why do you say XRP instead of BTC?
Colton Butler
XMR not XRP, in a world where we would need private money (digital cash) a blockchain that broadcasts all transactions is useless.
Bentley Wilson
That sounds pretty good but nobody uses Monero and it rarely rockets
Bentley Clark
so what? in a dystopian scenario do you need anonymous cash or do you need "poompa"
Kayden Anderson
and if it happened guess what would happen when people need monero, yeah poompa
Sebastian Gutierrez
Yes, and how exactly will BTC or XMR free you from this nightmare, when everyone else around you is living happily in it?
Are you going to escape society by only "trading" goods and services with the 2 or 3 schizos who also bought into your ancap crypto delusions of grandeur?
Face it, you will be integrated into the CBDC system, you will own nothing, and you will be happy. The crypto you've bought is only harming both your social and real credit for your future.
Mason Diaz
This is a good argument. People have time and time again proven that they don't mind being blind sheep abused by the system. The opposite actually, they're proud of that. When I tell people how Google, Facebook etc. are making billions with their behavioral data, they just go >"meh, so what. I'm not that interesting. and I'm not doing anything illegal" People sell their freedom and privacy for a chance to get to funny memes 0.5 seconds faster. All of this is because the average person navigates through life by searching for good vibes, not the truth. And the government will market their dystopia with happiness.
bch is shit compared to 3rd gen coins like avax or algo

>Nobody uses monero
Most dark web sites are switching to monero, with less even allowing Bitcoin at this point. White House market was a great example of one that did not even allow bitcoin, and sort of paved the way to making monero mainstream (RIP Whitehouse market). Now all of the websites offer the monero option aside from some of the older ones that have been up for a year or two.

Also quite a few countries are doing these digital currencies. cbdctracker.org/

If you even connect to a network at all, you are prone to everything you fear. It’s not limited to your financial accounts.
Jason Butler
Buy into the underlaying network that all CBDC will be run on. It really is that easy.
Add XRP to the list and I'll agree. Both will be massive imo.

even if it was just the same in digital form it's dangerous store owners in my country hate it because even a single hard candy sold the govermnent knows. I guess it fucks their tax evasion possibilities heh but the worse is for the citizens. someone pointing a gun at you has access not just to your wallet content, but your whole bank account and the incovenience of getting it back is too bothersome.
