QYLD does not deliver real dividend, it delivers CC profit as dividend. Thus its yield is mostly unaffected by price. Only thing that changes is your yield on cost, i.e. if you buy now and it triples in price, you get the equivalent of ~36% yield instead of ~12%. But this ignores the reality of compounding: if you buy back in with the gains, you reduce the average yield over time down to the regular ~12% and get fucked for a long, long time during the next crash for the same reason. If you just take the gains out, you don't compound at all.
QYLD in general is all the risk of QQQ and none of the gains.
