OHHHHH WAGIE
OHHHHH WAGIE
How can they do this shit though? Wasnt their thing that they were going to stick with wfh being voluntary, which lead to a bunch of employees moving to states with much cheaper COL? Now they are going to force those people to move back? How can you tell your employees one thing, which leads to them making big life changes, and then turn around and change your mind fucking your employees over in the process?
Proves covid was a scam. War starts, covid ends… how convenient.
No wagie get back in the cage.
the wagies on HN are split on this issue.
one group claims they are never going back
the other claims google is about to collapse unless they get all the trannies back asap
there really aren't any losing situations here huh
Mount up, boys.
We got goyim cattle to move.
exactly. best option would be wagies go back to cage + google collapses
>bill gates with his docileniggercattle.
>oil on canvas. 2022
Because it's Google and every person on the planet would happily work there.
If not they can grab Sandeep and his buddies from Bangalore for a third the price.
Either suck it up and keep working for them or move on. Google doesn't give a shit.
should be hilarious to see the coping when all of these smug techniggers get forced back in the cage. they'll seethe and claim that they're "grinding leetcode" or whatever it is, in hopes of landing a fully remote job. they will, however, fail because the market is saturated with competent coders who are also competing for a small number of remote jobs.
I work in a FAGMAN company (no I won’t say which one)
Officially they’re having return to work of 3 days, but unofficially they’re allowing liberal amounts of “exceptions” that they’re planning on handing out like candy to workers to keep them from quitting en masse
IN YOUR BOX, PAY MY RENT, please sirs you must.
American wagies are so pathetic they actually thought they would WFH
HAHAHAHAHAHA
and the best part is they will bitch and moan but not do shit about it!
Its called a jobs market user. I can't log into Linkedin without recruiters desperately messaging me like I'm a hot girl on Tinder. If I don't like anything in my current job I can leave and get another one. And if they ever try to take the 'remote' part out of my contract I'll be fuckin gone.
Wagie memes come from neets and losers who have only ever been trapped scraping by in retail and other shit jobs where there are 700 applicants for every vacancy. Skilled professionals have options.
> the market is saturated with competent coders who are also competing for a small number of remote jobs
Peak cope
Let me guess, you’re one of those faggots that think everyone’s just going to hire pajeets because they’re “competent” and cheap?
don't care. don't work in tech and i was hired as perm remote. unlike you i have real skills, my profession has barriers to entry, and my position is a statutory requirement. you will cope, you will seethe, you will dilate -- but most importantly, you will get back in the wage cage or ranjesh will kindly do the needful in your place.
I used to respond back to other FAGMAN recruiters to keep my options open (“Hey! I’m not currently looking for opportunities right now but in the future blah blah blah”), I don’t even bother anymore because they’ve become so annoyingly common
It’s a weekly occurrence at this point, which is odd given that I have been assured by 4channel.org’s top minds that I’m going to be replaced by GitHub Code or a paneer any minute now
Maybe this will force the shitty californians to move back to their state instead of driving up all the house prices in mine
If you didn't get any written contract/agreement from your boss that WFH would become a permanent condition of your employment then they really dont have to stick to their "promise"... because they probably never actually made a legal promise.
Hope everyone here actually grilled their bosses for some sort of agreement instead of just smiling like a dope when told that they could work from home "indefinitely".
fact is that most people are not suited for coding, i have had lots of friends who started to learn either by themselves or in uni and then quit
the media gives the illusion that coding is something that a baby can pick up and do
i love programming, i wouldn't do any other job but it's still just a job for me
They figured out it was saving too many wagies money. Less spending = less profits for businesses that served wagies on work days.
The elites can’t have a bunch of wagies saving money and buying nicer homes
>Proves covid was a scam. War starts, covid ends… how convenient.
This
>I have been assured by 4channel.org’s top minds that I’m going to be replaced by GitHub Code or a paneer any minute now
anyone who parrots that ebin neo-luddite btfo larp is a fucking NEET retard who has no idea what full sector wide automation looks like lol
the closest we got for accounting is stuff like turbotax and retail is self checkout
>unexpected item in the bagging area
wow I'm quaking in my boots
Coding is easy
Debugging is not
We should be called “debuggers”, that would be closer to what we’re actually paid for (and why we’re not going to be replaced anytime soon unless someone solves the halting problem)
If you pay street shitter prices you get street shitter code.
A company I used to work for had their senior devs and management based in London with a bunch of junior and mid-level guys based in Belarus and Ukraine. Their entire codebase was unmaintainable garbage, and now the only people who know how it really works are in an active war zone.
Tactical blunder on their part.
I had the recruiter that placed me in the job I'm currently in call me up exactly 6 months after I started asking if I was still happy and to check if I was looking for another job, because presumably he's been paid the full amount for placing me here.
>why we’re not going to be replaced anytime soon unless someone solves the halting problem
Delete. They don't need to know this.
Check
>If you pay street shitter prices you get street shitter code.
literally doesn't matter as long as it barely works. you have a lot to learn about real world business practices.
I wouldn't and literally denied their interview requests because I'm not going to live a californian shithole.
