DON’T TAKE OUT LOANS TO INVEST IN CRYPTO

>be me
>filthy call centre wagie
>working for a big Australian bank
>only get a measly $54k per year
>hate my life
>get a call at 5pm today, close to end of my shift
>it’s some Indian customer, one year younger than me
>he called because he applied for a personal loan, said it was for home renovations, but actually used the funds for crypto
>somehow we got hold of this fact
>high level worker in our lending team decided to lock the guys bank accounts without telling him why or what to do
>he call us up a month ago to try and get his accounts unlocked
>ends up being transferred from team to team to team cause no one knows what the fuck to do in this situation
>eventually gets told we’d call him back once we’ve investigated the matter
>not given a specific time or day, we call you, you don’t call us
>no word for one month
>calls up today to ask wtf is going on and when he’ll get access to his funds again
>ends up transferred a million times
>finally gets to me
>want to help the guy but I have no idea wtf I can do
>contact our fraud line, our high level PL line, our account unlock team, out security team
>nothing. No help from anyone. No one wants to touch this case. Just tell me to transfer to another team.
>dude has been on hold for an hour now
>get sick of this bs so I message my manager
>tells me to transfer to the fraud team
>tell him they won’t touch this
>tells me to send me the customers ID and he’ll call him back tomorrow
>send him the ID and ask him what time he’ll call the guy
>my manager decides to stop responding to me messages
>go back to customer after an hour and a half of holding
>‘uh, sorry man, I’ve been trying to find solution for you but not one wants to help me. My manager will call you tomorrow about it.’
>what time? He asks me
>’I’ve no idea’
>hangs up
I’m sorry dude. I’m really sorry.

Damn you just scammed the pajeet.

And that's how pajeet scammers are born.
Never take a loan kids.

Or don’t take out a loan from the same bank where your accounts are.

i bet he is still getting charged the interest though

SIR DO NOT REDEEM

why do they even do that? can't they just invest a small amount and just slowly grow it than going all in with a big loan they cant even pay in the end?

He is

He borrowed $40k

This is why I hate bankfags & the golems that work for them.

bruh just fuckin invest in startups or solprime's idos and u'll be a rich mf
>no more wagies

If only there were some technology that could completely decouple people from the banking system and give them true financial freedom for the first time in human history

This shouldn't be a problem for him since he bought crypto.
He's definitely gonna make it and definitely not gonna immediately lose all of that money, right?

I don’t really know if this’ll work. It might. We have access to info from equifax the credit reporting body but not info from other banks. You might still have access to your funds with other banks but trying to borrow anything anywhere else could be difficult.

I don’t know. Can’t see his crypto assets. He had $2k in savings and his personal loan so unless he’s got funds elsewhere he’s gonna be homeless soon.

As in decentralized finances? I wish Aave, compound, Venus protocol could do something like...lending crypto to willing people for a small rate?

>Clear cut fraud case.
>Fraud team won't touch it.
Your coworkers are particularly lazy.

that sounds so shit. at least you tried to help him, nobody else seemed to care. people like this i really hope make it

you either die a top caste or live long enough to see yourself become a pajeet

more reason i dont put all my money in the banks. people call centers are literally retards on the verge of roping. people trust call centers and banks to much like this indian dude. i would sue you and your company. thats probably what hes going to do. counting your days user someone will get fired over this.

My bank refused to let me open a business checking account with them because there were crypto wallet addresses for donations in the footer. I was told that the main organization in the US for credit unions has banned any association with crypto in any way, shape, or form.

>he called because he applied for a personal loan, said it was for home renovations, but actually used the funds for crypto
I think it's common for people to lie about what they do with the borrowed money. The only problem is when he doesn't pay on time. As long as your bank gets paid on time plus the interest, everyone should be happy.
