- Held Gazprom & Lukoil for 3 years. Great companies, great dividends, great fundamentals.
- Russian invasion starts.
- Russian oil stocks drop by 80%.
- Dump another $20k into both stocks even though I know the risk is very high.
- Stocks continue to dump another 50%.
- 2 failed negotiations and a failed assassination attempt.
- Dump all my Russian stocks today.
- Had $44k in. Got $26k out. Lost $18k in a span of 6 days.
I'm actually really glad I sold today, I feel relieved. I was so stressed out about the chance of losing all $45k, while I was in the gym yesterday and today, I kept feeling like I was going to throw up and actually considered eating a bullet for a split second. At that point I knew I had to get out.
