All these married white couples in real life have $130,000+ combined incomes and they only have one shelter cost.
What are they doing with all that money? They have maybe one kid, oftentimes none, so where does the $8,000 a month they bring in go? Are they at least investing it? What does their budget look like?
>retired off crypto, wife makes 250k/yr >1 kid >4 houses, 2 paid off >3 cars paid off we just kind of hangout and stuff
Eli Murphy
gee i dunno OP why don't you poll the millions of couples in your country and see

>you WILL consume the products >you WILL go on the expensive holiday >you WILL pay the carbon offset tarrif >you WILL finance the car >you WILL ditch said car and dish out for an EV >you WILL pay your taxes >you WILL eat the bugs

Please stop anthropomorphising the goylem. This is unhealthy, they're not people.

if they have a combined income then they are paying 40k per kid a year for daycare. they're not doing shit.
Justin Evans
a lot of marriedfags eat out and consume a lot

We had children, which cost a lot of money but are the single greatest investment you can ever make.
>0-3, diapers, lots of work but cute and love you unconditionally >4-6, learning about world, still cute but now you can talk to them >7-12, peak obedient and curious, my favorite age >13-17*, hard, but if you've done a good job up till now they'll play sports or will be working towards college. Inb4 debt trap, my kids are on academic or athletic full ride >18+, now they're productive members of society and will have their own families and care for me when I get old. B-but what if they steal my money and put me in a home?
Look, I can't say this works out for everyone, but it's been working out for me, and when you can shitpost on Any Forums and still think there's more to life than money, you'll understand.
Hudson Bennett
how many kids?
Henry Thompson
based and children pilled

They probably eat out a lot and vacation regularly and don't give a fuck about money past having enough to eat at the steakhouse twice a month since they'll probably get a load of inheritance money once their parents die anyways.
4, ranging from 6 to 20. I'm an oldfag who's been on the Chans since college back when Any Forums was good >Any Forums was never good I actually started coming back because of all things one of my employees was posting on Any Forums and I recognized the site
Owen Russell
> what do people with money do with their money Fuck man, why are you on Any Forums? Money is not an end unto itself. If you don't have the creativity to do shit with your money besides "not work" I don't know what to tell you. Why even "not work" if you don't have hobbies or interests to pursue with all of that freed up time?

"Experiences", services, premium versions of everything, and most of all good old fashioned overpaying for shit. As a general rule they just consume at least twice as much and pay 50% more for everything. Stuff like food or cars they just pay twice as much and consume the same amount ($40,000 car vs $20,000 car, $10 per plate meals vs $20 per plate meals)

The woman spends it all on worthless crap
Eli Rogers
Dunno. Throw it into crypto, savings, investments, paying shit off.

>>you WILL consume the products Rehabbing bathrooms and kitchens for 30K+.

all this useless bullshit feels good to be a complete outcast
actually having a child and setting them up for success by buying them an expensive, non-woke education (not sure if this is possible?) seems p. good in my opinion but hey, we can just let our bloodlines die out as long as we're happy jerking it to anime in the process of it
Bentley Adams
It's not all wortless but yes, the woman spends most of it feathering her nest.
Except the stuff in the secret account. That's for the eject chair if it all goes horribly wrong.

I made 190k last year. Wife does work. I don't know where it all goes. Doesn't seem like a lot desu. Put like 12k in our retirement accounts, spend maybe $1500 a month on food, $700 a month car payments, $2400 a month mortgage and utilities and about $2000 a month on bullshit (clothes, home and vehicle maintenance, hobbies, whatever). Also take 2-3 vacations a year. Don't really save anything besides retirement and home equity.
Elijah Walker
Sadly, I know a lot of people in the 150-200k/yr who live well outside their means.
We have a nice house, we go on one vacation a year, typically to see family and we also do something extra fun on top of it. We own 2 cars, new but nothing flashy.
We actually didn't send our kids to private school, we just live in a nice neighborhood so the public schools were above average.
My greatest fear has always been my children not learning the value of a dollar, but believe it or not, children will observe their parents and if you model good behavior they do the same.

Have you noticed that kids are a lot cheaper now than when you started? I was bracing for the worst but have been pleasantly surprised.
Henry Ortiz
How is this even possible? This seems unfathomable to me, how do average people even survive anymore?
Austin Green
>maybe $1500 a month on food WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU EAT??
Connor Rivera
Meant to reply to this guy
Joshua Russell
The wife is a full time prostitute rental. That shit ain't cheap.
Nathaniel Collins
>having a child why not, but you don't need at all the useless consoomer bullshit of your previous post >expensive (or not) formal education only for midwits, all the knowledge is under your own eyes, for free vast majority of the time, if you aren't retarded >jerking it to anime anime? your heuristics are .. too simple >
Ryder Flores
I learned it from garage saling. My dad psyoped me into feeling like an idiot if I overpaid for stuff. Love that man.
Camden Carter
LOL no, most of that income have kids. Couples that have no kids probably have one making minimum wage, the other making like 25 an hour at most, and all of their friends are jealous of how rich they must be with one person making 25 an hour.
Unless it's a gay couple, one half of a married couple is a woman, so there's your answer to where the money goes. Makeup, shoes, clothes, constantly going out to eat, every streaming service on the market, the newest iphone every year, and asking her to compromise on any of her princess lifestyle is abuse and asking her to cheat on you.
Even if you find a rare woman that is willing to live somewhat frugally, now they have 2 car payments, a bigger house than one person would have by themselves, etc.
Mason Powell
im waiting on my parents to die and will put both in a home, they were always good to me and it doesn't matter
Jason Morales
It wasn't all overnight, and a lot of it had to do with a supportive family. After our first child we basically lived in a bedroom at my parents the first few years.
Xavier Young
Overpriced tech, vehicles, and vacations. One hopes that they also save a significant amount for retirement but realistically most aren’t.
Ryan Watson
Your wife definitely sucked multiple dicks to get that salary
Blake Stewart
Well if they die you won't need to put them in a home.

I share your sentiment, the hardest lesson is knowing the difference between price and value.
Cheapest is not always best, and search costs are real.
