Does anyone else feel like time is moving really fast? Summer of 2020 doesn't feel longer than a year ago

Old world is about to be destroyed and a new world will be born. Time flies
Nah, it's just you getting old. Time flies as you get older.
Time flies when you’re a faggot
Every year gets faster
>t. 36
It all feels kind of melted together
still feels like 2020 never ended
How old are you? I’m 31 and ever since I was 28 or 29, years feel like roughly 4 months. A year when I was a high schooler or in college felt like 5 years.
Not looking forward to being 60 and a month feels like a day
I wonder how fast time feels if you're 100 and your mind is sharp.
It hasn't. Lockdown did something to reality, I can't work out what exactly but we're stuck in a time loop that's rapidly overloading.
There is a transitional phase going on in the world agreed.
yep
Still trying to be excited about things and spend that time better. Planting season coming quickly and its time for the veg garden once again bros
simulation variables were actually modified in the last content update. generally speaking our memories are modified so that we don't notice these things, but there's always been slippage when it comes to chronometry. see, e.g., de ja vu and similar phenomena
Bro, it's the end times, read Revelation. A third of every day is gone now, time is 33% faster.
time flies when you make this pepe
Oh shit, they're starting to notice. Increase their alpha waves to bring the time vectors into harmony. Fuck, we can't lose another one.
This is a common misconception. The reason time feels like its going faster is because you are stuck in a redundant cycle - work, sleep, repeat. To get back the feeling of normalcy of time, you need to make new experiences, learn new skill sets, get more mental stimulation. Building new memories throughout the year will get you back to your youthful period of life where the passing of time will feel more 'normal'. So get out there anons, do something with your lives!
user its just you living in a constant cycle of the same shit
As a kid that absolutely bored you which means you experienced it more slowly
As an adult you are used to it and are living normally now
Its okay user don't think about the past its 2024 now so we can at least vote for trump and he can fix this shit
Sounds gay but true. If you visit a new place every weekend your memories will space out your past. Summer 2020 feels so recent because you haven't done anything unique since then.
Just buy chainlink and time will seem to stretch you to your limits. Every day feels like two more weeks. I try to keep myself occupied. I do a lot of reading and runescape. While I still enjoy the idea of anime I can't say I watch it anymore. The, last few series were more driven by my completionist side to watch the next episode more than any enjoyment. Maybe it comes back but for now I couldn't get back to watching anything. An exercise routine helps feel like some time is passing at least. Monday and Thursday I do a modified greyskull. Two days a week is plenty to see gains if you really commit and give 90% of yourself. It takes a little time to find where your 90% is however. Noob gains you'll breeze through but after your cns is caught up you will easily find yourself going 95% or worse. Keep doing that and you'll get an injury. Easy way to tell is if you do worse than you did last workout but it feels different from a plateau, honest to goodness weakness because you reached further than your body could recover from in the time between training. I'm a little surprised by how many feel like the time has gone quickly. I guess with chainlink being so far in the future that it's impossible to get excited or look forward to anything it forces you to live in the present.
