I bought RUSL on friday morning and sold it for 20% gain by the end of the day. I then put $250 into Norilsk and Gazprom (I've mentioned this a few times ITT), and it's been a disaster ever since. I think in hindsight, I was lucky and rode a dead cat bounce up. Now when I bought those miners, I told myself it would be at least a 3-5 year hold, so I accepted that and went in... it's still disappointing to see them die 60% from when I bought in, even if it's just been a day or two. I think I should have been more patient until today to bought into them instead (I'd have gotten twice as much and at the same amount of risk).
But this is good, I'd rather pay $500 and have a learning experience now than make the same mistake when I have $50,000 to throw around

They posted "news" on their Twitter yesterday consisting of a picture of their mill, which was presumably turned off when the photo was taken. The last meaningful news was a month ago on February 1, after that it's just been pics of their mill not doing anything; they even posted a video of it at one point, and it wasn't on. The naysayers will say the mill is doing nothing, but I think what is actually happening is that because they're using very old hardware it's actually too dangerous to be in the same room as the mill when it's operating, hence why it's turned off whenever they're taking pics of it. Someone posted their analysis of the mill Bayhorse set up in one of the earlier threads and said it looks legit but isn't really up to modern safety standards, so that's the excuse I have for them as to why we can't get video of the mill in action.
If the Ocean deal ends up happening, my guess is that they'll use the money to get newer equipment to replace their current "new" mill so that they don't have to operate with Chinese safety standards.
I'll echo some others' sentiments I've seen around here since I have a position: They should communicate that! Scam or not, investors are much more confident if there is good communication from a company
