Been living paycheck to paycheck for years, but after seeing SBRCY drop to $1.25 from $10+ in the last week, I just got a loan out for $5,000 and bought 8,000 shares on margin (another $5000 margin)
so when the market opens tomorrow and Sberbank is back to $10, I'll be up to $80k. Sell it, give the margin 5k back and pay back the 5k capital loan, and walk away with $70k absolutely free.

I haven't claimed to be smart but discipline, motivation and all that isn't a part of intelligence.
Being smart is just having a talent for logic, you can be very talented and learn things easily but that doesn't mean you'll actually do it and take advantage of it.
Having a talent for logic doesn't mean you can't be lazy because those things are completely separate.
Your emotions and instincts play a very large part in your behavior and being smart doesn't give you more control over those things.
