Quite the opposite, it's all the bad news. Russians are buying like crazy because they're afraid (with some cause) that they'll get banned from Western crypto markets very soon. At the same time American state actors are only too aware of Moscow's interest in crypto and probably wouldn't mind high prices right now either, in order to shrink the amount Russians can acquire. It's a BTC arms race.
