To user, if you’re on iPhone set up a face id then go to nns.ic0.app to set up your internet identity You will be given an internet identity (a short string of numbers, think of it like your username) and a passkey (this is activated biometrically, either with a laptop finger print scanner, iPhone face id or a yubikey). To stop yourself going insane from complexity use face id it’s the easiest. I’m not sure how google phones work but Face ID would probably work on google phones as well
