Gotta spend money to make money

Papa Khan knows a clever tax write-off when he sees one

RoH has never made money and a vaporware game won't either.

tape library could help sweeten the deal when it comes to negotiating with streaming services
not sold on the videogame though

Said every bankrupt idiot on the planet.
Again, let's put wrestling aside for one moment and just talk about facts. The fact is that Tony Khan has never held any form of employment in his entire life that was not directly funded by his Dad. Even as an assistant coach of a high school sports team, came after a cash injection from his father. In addition to this, Tony Khan has consistently ran every business he has ever managed into the ground. His job at an environmental firm, his failed sports analysis business, etc. He also has already been sidelined in management of Jaguars and Fulham where he has no power or authority. He has ceremonial titles and that's it, according to the actual CEOs of these respective organisations. Tony also does not own AEW, his father does. He has no money of his own, he doesn't even own his own house.
Forget whether you like his wrestling or somebody else's wrestling. It's irrelevant to the point. This is the man who is holding the jobs of many wrestlers and the hopes of many fans in his palm. He is a consistent business failure in every aspect and the sooner AEW gets away from him then the sooner they'll actually make some money and have a long term secured future. As of today, AEW has lost somewhere in the region of $80m and has never made an annual profit. Tony Khan cannot run businesses, he has consistently shown this his entire life. He must be sidelined before he kills another company.

You're really underestimate how fucking easy it is to monetize the fuck out of a video game. AEW already has an extremely loyal install base and typically, those are the easiest people to nickel and dime with microtransactions.

why do you keep trying to push that they're in 40m for the game? are you ill?

>He is a consistent business failure in every aspect and the sooner AEW gets away from him then the sooner they'll actually make some money and have a long term secured future.
He got a 9 figure TV deal after three months of being on TV.

fine speech

Meanwhile, his dad has T-Law, is steadily capturing the overseas market for handegg, and has an iconic look with the stache. How far the apple has fallen from the tree.

>Wasted Lawrence's rookie year on Urban Meyer
>Didn't hire Leftwich
>Didn't fire Baalke
Dude, Shad is way more of a fuckup than Tony right now.

why are you so mad on Any Forums LMAO

> hey Warner execs listen you guys need this library of wrestling! It has guys like Samoa Joe, CM Punk and Morishima! What? You never heard of those guys!!???
Stop being a smark for 5 minutes

im sure the 500 ROHBots that are still alive will help turn this into a profit!

>He is a consistent business failure in every aspect and the sooner AEW gets away from him then the sooner they'll actually make some money and have a long term secured future.
Are you fucking joking? You saw what happens when the evps ran the place with creative and booking. NXT beat them at the end of the year.

why does your entire being revolve around logging on to a taiwanese flamenco dancing forum all day just to spouting lies and headcanon about fake fighting? rough childhood or what?

>calls others a shitposter
>use shitposters' vernacular
oof and yikes

Way to downplay it when people would actually be interested in a wrestling service. They need content anyway since hbo just has peacekeeper keeping it a float

>NXT beat them at the end of the year
I know NXT would never beat dynamite consistently, but why did they move it to tuesday? It gets the same ratings it did before but now it isn't tanking dynamite aswell. The real strategy should have been for NXT to kamikaze itself and take dynamite with it overtime

irony

as opposed to
> hey Warner execs listen you guys need this wrestling on your TV! It has guys like Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Adam Page! What? You never heard of those guys!!???

Peacock paid a billion dollars for the WWE Network, y'don't think the AEW and RoH's libraries combined with a weekly RoH show would be worth like 5% of that to Warner? I think you're deeply underrated how badly these guys want content for these streaming services.

wasn't that because of double or nothing's succes? ROH for comparison was on hiatus for 1 year and it's last shows were drawing peanuts, were they even on tv?

I'll keep reiterating the fact that if you take away the money, Tony Khan is nothing more than a TEW/Football Manager mark who posts on r/squaredcircle and lucked out on his lineage. The money, suits and ties, and big name connections are all window dressing for an unironic video game geek with zero business sense who would be writing his fantasy booking scenarios on reddit right now if he didn't have a dad to help him LARP his simulator video games. Look at any random username on reddit and imagine the guy behind it has a dad who gave him a billion dollars and that's all Tony ever was

>"OH you have WWE? What, no? Ring of Honor? Never heard of it. Do you have wrestlemania at least? What about that old one, with Goldberg and Nwo? Not that either..."

>Fired Meyer immediately when it became apparent that he was a glorified HS football coach
>Hires a man that coached Nick fucking Foles to a Super Bowl win
Fair point on Baalke, though. He'll probably get Pederson fired after he overspends in free agency.

>Wait, you have Christian? THE CHRISTIAN? MR. KHAN, WE HAVE A DEAL!
