When did you realize you got worked by his selling?

He almost never took shots to the head. Every chair shot I've seen him take he almost always had his arms up and rarely took them directly. His "diving headbutts" weren't ever actual headbutts unless there was a botch, usually connecting in the opponents' chest or shoulder area. If he supposedly had the 'brain of an 80 year old Alzheimer's patient" then how was he able to still work his last few matches and speak coherently (as coherently as a filthy French Canadian midget can at least)

Face it, there was more to his death than we were told and blaming them on shots to the head is absurd. Wrestlers such as Masato Tanaka or anyone from ECW took a hell of a lot more shots to the head than Benoit ever did and you don't see them going off the rails by now

Exactly, new jack pointed this out too in his classic shoot video with shiek and honky. Benoit always put his hands up. The chair shots aren't what did it, at least, it wasn't wrestling alone that did it. Shit like Eddie's death and just his biological mindset is what turned him loose.

This is one of the things that was always so weird to me, like there is that infamous chair shot where he did the suicide dive and Jericho hit him. People act like it’s this sickening blow when he clearly got his hand up. People are just looking out for head trauma in everything he did.
His brain was fucked and people are looking for excuses, but the reality is that just bumping has to have an accumulative effect on the brain, they need to tell themselves it’s only down to chair shots and diving headbutts because they don’t want to admit that they are causing irreparable damage for money that isn’t worth it for most of their contracts.

the head shots and chair shots just make it happen faster. anything where your head is going one direction and stopping at any sort of speed ie landing on your back, etc is gonna cause damage that will build up. for every one diagnosed concussion there's probably dozens of people just narrowly avoiding the official criteria.

marks still getting worked by dr omalu's "80 year old alzheimers patient" line from 2008. dr omalu is known for making sensationalist claims about his findings. all wrestlers have CTE. even test had CTE and he was hardly a hardcore wrestler and had a very short career. vince probably took more chair shots than benoit. people make out like benoit was taking chair shots every week when in reality it was pretty rare

benoit was one of the first high profile CTE cases so people think he's unique but he's not. he was just the first big wrestler to have his brain donated so dr omalu went berserk trying to draw attention to his work by saying shit like the alzheimers line. in reality there's a million wrestlers with these so called "alzheimers brains". millions of boxers too. how bad do you think george foreman's brain is? ken shamrock? everybody has CTE. the actual effects of CTE are still being debated and there is a lot of disagreement.

he was a guy who consciously killed his wife and just happened to have CTE because of his occupation. lots of ppl kill their wives. their relationship was a mess and nancy was already telling her sister that if anything happened to her then it was chris that did it. it didn't come out of nowhere. nancy got a restraining order in 03 because she "feared for her and daniels lives"
