I remember watching a documentary on Bitcoin mining around 2012 and not understanding the point of running computers to mine make believe currency to earn the fake currency. I just didn’t see the value, but I was also a dumb teenager just out of HS. I very specifically remember after the documentary googling the price of Bitcoin and it was like $20. I was like I’m not spending $20 on some clown money. I could have been a millionaire…but then again there’s no way I would have held it until reaching $65,000. I would have sold that shit at $50 to buy beer or go to the hookah bar like a little dumbass.

Well you can speculate. There was the parable about the three servants and each one was given one dollar. One servant invested his Dollar in Bitcoin and it doubled. Another servant invested his Dollar in ethereum and it did a 10x. However one servant invested his Dollar in tether and it did nothing just sat there depreciating. I think that guy got whipped.

WAGMI. Literally. Like any legitimate crypto you’re holding today is going to make us all unbelievably rich in 10 years. Holding BTC, ETH, etc is going to be like holding Apple or Google stock in the 1980’s. I didn’t buy crypto stupid early like the OG’s..but I’ll be damned if I’m going to miss the literally only chance I have at a decent and comfortable retirement. I’m still in my late 20’s but I have the next 40 years to stack as much as I can.
