now do the nyse. then do derivatives

It hasn't even flipped silver yet. It's still early.

I wonder (((who))) is behind these posts?

you cant compare derivatives to the underlying, a fairer comparison would be crypto derivatives vs equity derivatives

The eternal goyim

>9. Bitcoin

either bitcoin replaces gold,
or bitcoin and all altcoins cease to exist in less than 10 years

if you're willing to bet on the latter you should stay well away from investing

Or either none of those scenarios happen retard. What are you, Jesus?

that's an even lower iq response that people that think any and all crypto currencies will just disappear after a few years.

Lol seethe PM dooshbag BTC will go on to DOUBLE gold MC and there’s nothing you can do about it

This. It's far more accessible, liquid, and fully global, and is the inflationary economy's worst enemy.

meh you could argue that most of crypto is a 'derivative' in a sense

cope

the interesting part is that gold mcap is a minimum estiamte, only known/proved reserves, entirely disregading gold still in the ground or other planets / asteroids. bitcoin mcap is a maximum estimate not accounting for all the lost BTC on early harddrrives which can easily be 20-30% of the supply.
so the actual gold mcap is bigger, while BTC mcap is significantly lower than those values.

but BTC doesn't compete for gold marketcap. it will cover 50% of the world since it solves all the problems gold never could.

Elaborate
What problems does btc solve?

turkey just seized all gold from their citizens

So BTC have clean x15 before we might consider it a bubble? Might even be x30+ if gold actually moved lmao

>What problems does btc solve?

>confiscatability
if the govt or a foreign occupying power tried to seize your gold you'd be in trouble. can try tree stumps and whatnot, but if the glowies coming for your gold are equipped with metal detectors you're fucked. only a very small % of the populace can succeed at hiding their gold, as the moment a method becomes known the glowies will check for it. with BTC, ALL sufficiently smart players can hide their keys either encrypted in a jpg file on their notebook or by memorizing a seedphrase.

>transportability
$100m in gold weighs almost 2 metric tons. try purchasing it then store, and if needed move, it securely

>divisibility
what if you wanna sell 10% of your certified bar? you need to take it somewhere and get re-certified.

>certifiability
yeah, experienced traders have a lot of methods to tell fake gold from real, but no method is infallable. if investment-gold had actual physical usage and it wasn't 99% paper based anyways, there'd be lots of new ways invented to fake it. eventually you have to trust a central authority with expensive machinery to tell if gold is 100% legit. with bitcoin you can just look at the public ledger.
