1. Find an untapped niche
2. Create a product that people are attracted to (being personable on camera, having interesting things to say, decent production value, etc)
3. Put in the work (for short videos you have to churn out at least one per week, for longer videos they might need to start approaching an hour+ in length)
4. Do it for at least a few years to build an audience. Over that period continue to grow and evolve your skillset so that you aren't churning out garbage and are remaining interesting.

6. Profit.

define success. i make a little from ad revenue making shitty videos. its not much, and it might be cope, but i feel successful.
also right about dislikes but wrong about clicks due to how retention and watch hours work. impression clicks are important too but a low retention will fuck you in the algorithm.
