I think my PC has a crypto miner virus

How do I find it?

since you're asking such a question i assume you're on windows, check in the task manager (ctrl+shift+escape) if your CPU and/or GPU is under heavy load. if it is, then kill processes one by one and check after which one the load goes down. those are the candidates for miners.

Delete your System32 folder, refreshes your computer of anything wrong.

uninstall the haircomb wallet

if you have teamviewer or anydesk i can check it out for you

Sir, this is Microsoft support. I need you to download anydesk sir and I will verify for you

YOU GOTTA DIG BELOW IT-

Check taskmanager process and see which one is taking up a lot of your system resources

It's my memory that's running high
Would a miner cause that?

I had 4 at once absolutely burning the fuck out of my CPU. Malwarebytes found them.

I've ran Tron script already which includes malwarebytes

Wash your pc in a bathtub. Using dish washing fluid also helps.

Use malwarebytes downlod it from 1337x

no, not the ones I know. if there is no process consuming a lot of CPU or GPU, why do you think you have a miner running?

How retarted do you have to be to get one of these let alone 4?

1) ctrl+alt+del
2) Click the "processes" tab
3) on the table to the right, click "Memory" so it sorts by memory usage in descending order
4) take screenshot and post here

Seems to me like the system32 virus. You gotta delete it for your pc to turn back to normal power usage

le funny system32 meme

First guess is your windows defender is doing a full scan right now.

Ignore this guy

ESET is currently doing a scan, not Defender

Why is your browser taking up so much memory

No idea, it's usually that or Antimalware eating my memory

Well there ya go.

Dissenter is a chrome fork.

Nah this happens even with no scans occurring
