It means big blocks work, as Satoshi said in 2009. Yet around 2015 onwards the BTC Core group "convinced" us that they do not and banned everyone from their forums who advocated for big blocks. A split / form happened and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) came to be, however ABC Group (o think thats the name) wanted ever more control over the protocol and everything, so a hashwar happened which led to yet another fork - Bitcoin Satoshi Vision BSV, where the infamous Dr Craig Steven Wright is who is now by far the most likely candidate to be Satoshi Nakamoto, as much evidence came out during the recent court case Kleiman vs Wright, which Craig won on 6 out of 7 points.

Long story short, we were lied to. Big blocks work, as evident from the screenshot, you can look up the block.

Bitcoin scales. It always has. The blocksize limit was only a temporary measure to protect the network from DDoS attacks while it was small.
