I actually think this whole thing is really simple to understand, since I was confused at first why he would decide to let a whopping 40 grand ride in HLY even after he admitted that he got used and felt like a fool. It's the simple, human desire to save face, and not want the thing that you believed in to actually be fake. I've experienced it before, I'm sure everyone's experienced it before. The moment where the egg is on your face and everyone is laughing and more than anything, you want to double-down and prove everyone else fucking wrong.

I think this is the mistake that's being made here. Mtop, is this really the hill that you want to die on? There are plenty of other things without a dev that's been outed as being this incredibly shady. I asked the same question yesterday and was told yes. But I bought in anyway when it dipped below 1.60. I've been pretty happy with that decision. I think it's a no brainer at the current market cap.
