Netflix, Paypal and now Facebook all dropping 20-ish% after hours and all saying basically the same thing: "Last quarter was OK but we are lowering our expectations for the next quarter by a lot". Then the news breaks and the headline is something lukewarm like ohh earnings were 3% less than expected no big deal people are over-reacting!... meanwhile PE ratios over 30 mean that they can't have a single bad quarter for the next 30 years. They are disguising it pretty well by pumping up the major indices by a few percent each time so they can keep selling before it all comes down but all you have to do is look at it's going to come down hard.
