I have my eye on a few projects that have been shilled here recently.

why do people care if you have the token to a picture? I don't understand
imagine losing your shit over some average bitch with shorts, what the fuck is wrong with you faggots
NFTs have interesting use cases but let's be honest, 99% of these are fucking scams just like the fungible token market.
I have already carved a niche for gaming NFTs because I can have fun while I earn passive income. I am into quite a number though I find Axie Infinity so fascinating while I await the demo play of Duelist King in March in mid February and the launch goes live in March according to its roadmap.
basically b/c it's unique. idk about a lot of other crap, but in this case it's "ownership" of a gesture with a certain scarcity, and it's the first project to do so.
what I also like about the project is it includes a generated puzzle adventure game with a pretty cool story, and also a generated soundtrack. Normally I don't buy jpegs, but this one is obviously a lot more appealing. I'm waiting to see the 3D update to all the hand pfps the dev said he's working on to buy in.
If dev actually delivers on what he's given so far in previews (and it's not too hard to go from his previews to final product, so why wouldn't he?), then I think this will honestly be the next BAYC. It's totally distinct stylistically from all the other projects and was the first to do a lot of the things it does, so it has historical value in that sense.
What's preventing someone from editing 1 pixel of your jpg and sell it again?
